No don't worry - it isn't a credit check like you think. Basically just checking - you are who you say you are, you live where you say, has he/she done avon before and if they have did they leave owing money. Pretty much the only reason for someone being refused credit with avon is if they owe money to avon from before - I've had reps with ccj's, poor credit rating (MIL can't get any form of credit, can't even get a proper bank account, and yet she was accepted by avon with no problem).

    So don't worry!

Right - have labelled up my ring sizers to indicate the sizes for small, medium and large, they will be going in my brochures in the jewellery section - hopefully get some sales from it!

And have made some leaflets to go in with my brochures with the order form, for my customers to pass onto anyone they might know who would like to make some extra money, with the lure of a free bottle of perfume for referring someone - I live in hope that out of all my customers *someone* must know a person who would like to be avon rep!!!

thanks everyone. didnt go out in the end! Felt too bad!:o

Got 3 orders through my door though even though not collecting till tomorrow - 1 from a new customer too who previously didnt want a book but her rep has give up so asked her neighbour for an extra book off me - nice £12 order too! :D

Oh and i sold an empowerment ring via facebook I have been promoting it to my friends on facebook and offering it @ £2 and im putting the other £1 to it as its a subject close to my heart.... BUT dingbat me forgot books had changed so now means i have to do an additional order cos just realised its not in camp 8 or 9!!! GUTTED! But suppose it means i can use my C7 books to recanvass now too this weekend since I'll have to put a C8 additional in anyway to back order from c7 to get the empowerment stuff!! :o:o:o:o:rotfl::rotfl:

Got to take DD to her 2 year review tomorrow and since have to walk through new territory to get to it im gonna drop my books tomorrow. She is with her dad at the weekend so will collect on saturday (never collected weekends before! could be interesting!) But means at least will have covered my new territory hopefully by end of the camp on thursday!! So wanted to hit my £1075 target to make PC this camp but dont think i will with only a week left.

Given my dad a book to take into his office too tonight.. my mum bought the PC mouse for my bro at xmas and dad only saw it last camp so ordered 2 for his office.. now all his office collegues are asking where he got it from! :D So told him to take a book in and i'll give him some samples!! he said they are all blokes.... i pointed out avon do aftershave too and thats what i have the most samples of! :rotfl: They are sat here doing nothing so he may aswell take them..!! Even if i get no orders they will clear out my sample bag which is a bit dated now. Lots of discontinued ones ive never managed to give out :o:o:o

Well done Johanne. Just lost my post!

    grrr.

So pleased you didn't go out yesterday and gave your body a chance to heal. Know how bad kidney infections are.

You are doing soooooooooooo well! Well done, you are working so hard to achieve your goals.

I was talking to the lady at work who bought the 2 avon products of me that I recommended. She told the other Rep she had bought them off me and didn't want them from her. She was telling me she wanted the Antler Bag for her SIL who is expecting next month. I told her she could buy it from me as I have customers who have ordered the qualifiers but don't want it, so she wouldn't have to buy make up or stuff to qualify for it. And considering we only get 15p, she is welcome to order from me!

She said ok, very happy and is going to tell the other rep. Think she will buy more regularly from me when she wants something :).... oops.

Sent my first Avon order off last night, £168 I'm so chuffed! :)

Have decided to make some postcards to stick the Fergie samples I ordered to, and have found that Jessops currently have an offer on for 75 FREE 6"x4" prints, AND if you collect from store it's free delivery. Don't know if it's for 'brand new customers only' but worth a look for some free glossy postcards.

The code to use at the checkout is 75WELCOME if you're interested. Have used the "Outspoken by Fergie, exclusive to Avon" image from lucyclare.

    Hi guys,

I've just checked the online invoice from my first order. Good news is that I've achieve HOV in my first run :j

But . . . I'm having difficulty understanding what's happening with the alternative goods. It looks like they couldn't supply the Anew Elixir Premium, but they've replaced it with 2 products instead of one (30ml Age Repair Elixir, and a 15ml trial size Age Repair Day). Does that sound right?

Also, under 'items supplied at no cost', it looks like they're sending me an Anew Reversalist Night Renewal Cream. Is this likely to be the sample reward for reaching HOV in my first campaign?

    Hi Myrtle,

Yes, I got the two products last campaign instead of the one ordered. Customer was well happy. Have no idea what the difference is in the product but they didn't seem to care.

Also, yes, the Reversalist NRC is your reward for reaching HOV. Well done!
