Just to say. Had a really good day today. Picked up some outstanding books and have two orders. Signed up another one today. So far 10 active in the team. 3rd camp as SL

Just another 30 to go! Im hoping if I get 40 in the team that will show a nice level of SL income.

Hope everyone has enjoyed the sunshine. Winter comes again to N Wales next week :(

Trouble is lucyclare, getting reps and keeping them can be two completely different things! Hope it goes well for you, if you can get reps who put in big orders, people heading for PC, then it can make all the difference to how much you earn.

At the moment I'm chasing someone who's been with me for about 5 campaigns, she's put through a LOT of orders, she owes a ridiculous amount of money!!!!, and yet she hasn't paid, not placed an order this time, and won't respond to emails / calls / texts....very irratating, all I want to know is if she is continuing and to remind her to pay else she can get charges added!!!

Well i canvassed a whole street on book 9 and went to pick them up today. I had dropped 33 books and got 25 back with 2 orders. Is this good or is book 9 just not that great.

I put a different front sheet in this time with it clearly stating the day i would be back, think this helped!

Have just emailed my SL (or AM, don't have a clue) to ask if I could have a little more territory. I know it's dependant on area, but how many houses do some of you cover?

Empathise with you lozza; I don't seem to even have the knack to sign newbies up! :( Went 'swooping' a short while ago and got 12 potential newbies. My own SL was well impressed but not one single one progressed to actually signing up..... So far have been sent a 'hot lead' from my ASM, which led to nothing, and sent on a wild goose chase by my SL to sign up someone an hour's drive away..... She signed up :T but then cancelled within 10 days! :( Two others, who were keen to sign up, (one even approached me) also came to nothing......

Sales I don't have a problem with but recruiting is another matter. Maybe am not cut out to be a SL.

I probably have about 360 houses. My ASM gave me about 100 houses at the initial meeting but I quickly got round them and it was clear that 2 F&F reps were already selling to quite a lot of those. So she gave me another 50 within my 1st campaign. She then gave me a lovely long road with just over 200 houses when I started my 2nd campaign. Having done 3 campaigns now I have whittled it down to about 240 houses that haven't ticked the 'No further brochures' box.

I wouldn't worry mc - I think the trouble is with swooping door knocking etc is some people will say yes on the spur of the moment without thinking about. I only ever deliver leaflets, and expired brochures along with the leads I get from flissys, though haven't had any from there this year. It's slower, but I've had a pretty good retention rate, only had 1 person sign up from my prospecting who didn't order, the other drop outs were from leads I bought.

  • MarsdenCuckoo - don't lose heart, I was a manager with another company, you have no luck for ages then will sign 3 in a week or something. It's just the way it goes. Keep at it, it's worth it for when you get the one gem who works their socks off :)
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!

I have two who signed up really keen as mustard then disappeared into thin air. Wont even leave their books out for me to get back and re-use. One who signed up, had a first order of over £200 and then decided that she couldnt really spare the 3 hours a week it was taking her.

I know that they can and will (at some point) drop off just as quick as i sign them up. Which is why im aiming for 40. That way, should have a decent number of activity and make it easier to get to advanced level.

I spoke to my asm on tuesday when we were out and she told me that when she started the terrirtory was on its bum. Im lucky that where i am there is a shed load of available territory, so i can give them bigger areas as i have and they sell more. (two were over £350+) and others that are doing over £149.

I know that some SL struggle to target available areas or have decent territory to give to reps, so for now, im just lucky. Long live the luck and hope that my dogged persistence pays off.

I do my village and have just picked up two new streets as F&F reps have quit. and I have two big streets in another village. All in all about 300+ who are happy to get a brochure.

We have very few Avon reps in my area, so i got more as the territory was free. She was happy to give me the streets as i wanted to work. The work has paid off. I avereage £200+ from one street in neighbouring village.
