hey
just come back from the church we saw some order of services , choose the songs which will be
come on and celebrate, the holly and the ivy and once in royal david's city as its the last saturday before xmas and everyone knows it lol
meet the other couple who are sharing our day and they dont want the church flowers so if we pay for flowers they will also be using them which my partner doesn't like but they are ours to take home and if the other bride doesn't like them then whatever lol
saw what would happen on the day and spoke to the florist works out at £30 for the pedestal and £25 for 8 pew ends, both of these we can take with us all though i dont know what i would use the pew ends for
any ideas? 0 -
Glad it went well. I remember my cousin several years back used her bouquet and pew ends on graves of dear friends and relatives she had lost which seemed nice. Not really sure unless you use them to decorate your house being Christmas time. Are there any older relatives who you could give them to afterwards as a small gesture?MARRIED MR E - 22nd Dec 2010 - technically now sazzye!:j

So glad I came across this thread was beginning to think I was the only mad woman who decided to get married in the busiest month of the year!!
We're getting married 4th December...venue booked, dave the dates gone and today has been my first dress experience!! Very exciting until the dress makers pointed out I really need to get a move on as dresses take around 6 months to come together eeeek!
Glad to see everyones plans all coming together nicely :A4th December 2010 - The day I married my best friend, all that's left to do now is live happily ever after :heartpuls0 -
I'm starting to dress panic a little!! Tried on some and know the kind I want - grecian style empire line - my mum's a seamstress by trade (though a carer now due to ill relative) so we (I say we, but it will basically be her!) are hoping to make the dress. I know she can do it and she'll do it beautifully but obviously the main constraint is TIME! So i'm panicking slightly and wondering if I should go and try more on in case of a back-up. Doesn't help that I'm also hoping to drop 4 dress sizes, LOL!!!MARRIED MR E - 22nd Dec 2010 - technically now sazzye!:j

Thanku jidi. Still toying with the idea of Save the Date cards/emails/magnets (or something) - seems silly to even think of save the dates since we have already asked and confirmed with the 10 ceremony/day guests and the other 80 or so are evening guests only, but I'm concerned with it being an evening so close to Christmas that people will either be too busy or have committed to something else early on in the year and when the invites go out later this year, it will be too late, think I'm going crazy!! Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. xMARRIED MR E - 22nd Dec 2010 - technically now sazzye!:j

p-pincher the first one is nothing to dread as long as you expect how much you really weigh your be fine its the second one to dread but my second weigh in i lost only a pound and the my 3rd i lost 5lb and last week i lost 3lbs so i have already lost over half a stone in 3 weeks

i find i slip if i dont have the fruit and yoghut in the house and i am skint until tomorrow so will end up eating nothing much today apart from soup lol
and how exciting about the same flights must feel real now i would be so excited
and sazzyb i am going to order my save the dates from ebay i work out i would need to send about 28 but i have decided not to send my bridal party save the dates as they will be there and hear me chat about it everyday so that saves about 10 save the dates. i'm thinking about getting these ones http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/16-Save-The-Date-Magnets-Christmas-Wedding-Invites-RSF_W0QQitemZ270496058004QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Home_Garden_Celebrations_Occasions_ET?hash=item3efad24a94 i think
