Yes it is!! Just worked it out...exactly 50 days!
Getting to stage where most things are done/paid for but still feel all the little things must be done! Sat on Saturday morning & stuffed crackers (our version of favours!). Sat Sunday morning and put tea lights in holders, but at least it feels like another job (albeit small) done.
Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a list-writer; I write lists, rewrite lists, write lists to remind me to do lists.....driving myself insane in the process!!
How are your plans coming on then ticklepenny in the time you've barely had so far??!!!
47 days remaining

mil2b last night confirmed that she is going to pay for our dj and she is already paying for our cake so that is £250 saved. Our wedding is now 3 weeks tomorrow and I am starting to feel a bit more in control about everything. I still have to select all our music and put it onto cd's to take to the venue so that might be today's job seen as the weather is foul!
Tomorrow I will be shopping for last minute things. DD needs new shoes to wear with her dress as she has grown out of hers, she also needs some jewellery. Need to get something for chief bridesmaids hair and need to get OH new shoes. Also need to get the rest of our drinks reception alcohol. That then should be all the shopping done.
The next 2 weeks will then be spent filling up my table boxes for the venue to make setting up easier. finally completing the table plan and helping OH with his speech. The the week of the wedding is filled with beauty appointments, dropping things off at the venue, napkin folding and filling jars with sweets for the buffet!
How is everyone else getting on?0 -
40 days I think till the wedding (keep losing track lol)
Done so far this week:
We sorted our music last night so pending venue approval we have:
Grooms music – Clubbed to death – Rob dougan
Processional music –Better - Tom Baxter
Recessional - What a beautiful day – the levellers
Found a reading for one of my friends to do at the ceremony.
Met with our Photographer who will be doing it free of charge as he needs to build his portfolio, but his current portfolio is very good IMO.
To Do:
Finish making the veil.
One more table decoration to make.
Make up crackers, awaiting snapper bits to put in them.
Bake cakes to stick in the freezer.
I am still willing my dress to arrive early lol.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

16 days for me now and my to do list is very small now which I am pleased about.
Apart from final payments I just have to put music onto cd's for the ceremony and background music for the drinks reception and meal finish off my centerpiece arrangement, print 2 place cards, finish off my table plan, collect napkins for folding, fill up my sweet table jars and take everything to the hotel!
Anyone got any suggestions for compliation cd's I can get for background music?0 -

I got the crackers from here just provided them with the design we wanted in a pdf format. We wanted 30 crackers so they just provided a unique order for us. We have purchsed rock from here that says just married. We are also going to put some cracker snaps and possibly some naff cracker toys in them
. Overall it will be £1.40 per cracker but I really like them. DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
