    Raspa your pics are lovely!

We have a boudoir shot thrown in with our photgraphy package. I'm not sure I want to have one!
  • A boudoir shoot would be amazing!

Our photographer does those too but not with the wedding package.

I was thinking about having one a few years down the line as an anniversary gift...

We just had our 'boudoir' shots done. They've come out great. We had some done fully clothed as well. I just have to wait forever to get them now:(

Hi all, I hope you don't mind if I join in! :-) Congrats to all brides (and grooms) to be.

Bubbles, I joined in because you and I are one of a kind. We are hoping to get married around the same time as you and also like you, I'm waiting for the official proposal. I proposed to him last year on holiday (was quite tipsy and had befriended a couple on their honeymoon. I took a small part of a palm frond and wrapped it around his ring finger. Got down on one knee then sat on the floor sobbing because he'd said yes lol)

We can't agree on anything. I want a white gold ring but he hates white gold. He wants to buy me a half carat diamond but I'm only tiny and my little fingers would look ridiculous with a rock that size on it. I've found a gorgeous white gold bridal set but no, he won't even entertain the idea. We both want to get married abroad but if we do that, most of my family won't be able to come (well, what's left of my family) We don't want a wedding where for the rest of the holiday we'd be bored silly like we were in Dominican Republic. His folks and his brother/brother's girlfriend are the only people he wants to invite but they live in Australia. My sister hasn't spoken to me for over a year but she's never been a bridesmaid so I'd like her to be there but don't want her fella anywhere near us. My dad suffers badly with prickly heat so somewhere too hot would make him look terrible on his baby girl's big day. I want a dress with a full skirt but OH says I'd look ridiculous and of course if we go somewhere hot it wouldn't be practical. The thought of sharing my honeymoon with both our parents puts me right off. I want silk flowers so I can keep them but OH says they're tacky. He's against the idea of getting married in this country as he says we haven't got the budget for it but he's so wrong it's shocking. He doesn't want a church wedding, he doesn't want it it a hotel, he doesn't want a registry office. In fact, I'm convinced he wants it on a beach but I'm partial to getting married in New York as there would be loads for everybody to do either as a group or as couples (mum loves shopping, I love the theatre, BIL loves historic buildings, Dad loves America, In laws have never been and as long as it sells booze they're not bothered where they are. Cousin too skint to visit me in this country so she'd never be able to come unless we paid and that's impossible.)

All this before we're even officially engaged. The only thing that has been decided is that lindaatno9 is making my dress as she only lives down the road from us.

Not sure we would be able to make it to the wedding without trying to kill each other. AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHHH!

OK, rant over, now are "boudoir shots" exactly what I think they are??
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

the rings- do they have to be matching? this is what my H2B wants I DO NOT!!
this is what i want lol
you can print off a list of places you like the look of in the uk and show him its not as expensive
are you in england ?there are some weird and wonderful places about!
silk flowers can be just as, if not more, beautiful than some real flowers!
i dont think this is tacky at all actually i might have to go and get one of them for my wedding and at £2.99 for a wedding bouquet oo one to throw and one to keep? lol
if you dont want a hot place what about eastern europe?
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p

I totally agree with bubbles. We didn't set out to have non-matching rings as it happens - I had a white gold engagement ring, so wanted a white gold wedding ring, but when he tried on white gold it just didn't suit him, so he's having yellow gold. I honestly don't think it matters. :)
