morning gemmzie et al!
well what have you all been upto?
im getting fed up with not being able to find my perfect venue even though ive got thirty whole months till my wedding day, well really ive only got a few left as places get booked dont they
i think my whole wedding budget is £8000 but my grandad says he will give me some money, i dont know how much and feel rude asking so i dont want to count it in!
so i need somewhere within an hour/ish of me to have ceremony, breakfast (for 68)and evening do(140) and because i want a country house type place its proving to be expensive there are a couple of nice hotels which could pass as nice houses but ill have to go visit them really!
if i do find somewhere now what will happen?
will they pencil us in and then when ive got the registrar sorted, which can only be 12 months before, itll be ours?
has anyone done it so far in advance before?I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
I think pre-wedding pics are an american import (they seem to have "engagement shoots" as standard) but our photographer does them so we get used to him posing us in front of the camera, he gets used to how we look and move together and he does a print that goes in a wide mount for guests to sign instead of a guestbook. It was good fun!
If you´re on f-book search Zoom photography (there´s about three but two are from the US) and look on the albums on the left hand side and you can see our pics!Married Ajichombo on 17th April 2010 :j0 -

I can't find your pics!0 -
We're just taking pictures at our meal tomorrow night for a scrapbook. Love the idea of professional ones though.
Bubbles - We are looking at summer 2012 and have been advised to get looking and booking because places around where I live get snapped up that far in advance, some even 3/4 years! :eek:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I found you. For some reason I thought you were based in London, and the name on the photoshoot is different than Ajichombo? Confused me. Lovely pics!
My OH's sister got married in Southport last July!0 -
On the subject of pre-wedding pics, here is ours:
I'll take it down soon! They were taken by a photographer friend of ours. I love the jumper OH is wearing, but he has now shrunk it in the wash0 -
