whats the family to friends ratio?
mines 42 family 26 friends for the ceremony/breakfast at the moment!

Ours is 30 family to 10 friends (one of whom is my bridesmaid), no cousins, no partners of nieces/nephews, just my two DS's GF's.
  • Totally off topic - but having a bad day. My oldest son run over his finger with his skateboard and had to go to the hospital because his finger nail was hanging off he now has a big bandage and sling and goes back tomorrow, plus OH Grandad had surgery for oesophagal cancer (for 2nd time) today and found out my invites will cost 66p each so feeling on a bit of a downer let's hope tomorrow brings better news :(

WTGW - sorry to hear about your grandad-in-law. We see a lot of those on critical care. I hope he does well.

From my side of things, we had our pre-wedding photos on wednesday! Squee! They're so good!

Plus I finally finished writing this presentation for tomorrow (well, today, now...) so can think about wedding stuff again! Yay!

why will your invites cost that much?
is that with you making them yourself?

    raspabaras,what are pre wedding photos?
is it like a rehearsal of what youll be having on the day or just a keepsake of before your married?

We are getting our wedding rings from HSamuels - We spotted them maybe about a year ago, and I checked the website today to find that they have gone up in price by £25 - so instead of costing us £700 for both, its going to cost £750 :( I dont know whether to buy them now (wedding in december) or wait a few months to see if they go down in price.

Do you think they might do a deal for us?

Booked our photographer today, and I've naughtily ordered my wedding jewellery (on sale so still MSE). I also got a bargain on ebay last night for wedding shrugs so just waiting for a total from the seller before I pay.
