Aww that's a shame but if you know exactly what you want and it doesn't take long then you will probably be happier to practice it now and then do it yourself on the day. So long as you give yourself plenty of time and a bit of flexible hairspray to try and hold the curls and i'm sure it will be fab!

My hairs naturally curly anyway, so I'll just do it myself no problem ~ would have liked soft curls, but mad curls it shall have to be! :rotfl:


Really hacked off this evening. One of OH's friends was coming to the wedding with his GF. Then they split up but he didn't bother to let us know she wasn't coming until I'd asked OH to check with his mates if they were still coming.

Then on facebook a couple of weeks ago, same friend had started a group about a bike show which was on the day of the wedding (!!) so I messaged him and asked what was going on but he assured me he was coming.

Then he had a bike accident about 10 days ago and has been texting OH tonight, something about an op on Thursday, but he's hoping to have it Monday instead (???) so hopes he will make it on Saturday.

Why doesn't he just say he's not freaking coming?! He's already pished us about twice and if he's having an op on his arm on thursday, he will be in no fit state to come as he has to travel to get here!

Then he was getting a lift from OHs other friend, and said he would deffo come for ceremony and meal, but if this other mate is giving him a lift, he won't be able to take him back because he's staying all day and night with his GF!

Meal is all booked and paid for, so if he doesn't come and says now he can't, at least I have 3 days to get someone else in his place (one of my friends could bring her daughter), but I will go bloody ape if he doesn't turn up without saying anything!!!

Just a quicky to say that our wedding was absolutely fab, the weather was glorious, everything went like clockwork and that if anyone would like approximately 55 ivory 100mm x 120mm organza favour bags, PM me & I will post them to you.

How's your planning going?

I don't think you've forgotten anything. I've put venue map/directions, hotel info, gift list and rsvp info into mine. Oh and just a line about what type of confetti people are allowed to bring to the venue (i.e biodegradable or dried flower petals).

We put names, date, time, RSVP info and whether it was day or night! I put phone numbers, email address and address on the back of the invitation. Anyone who wanted anything more got in touch - firdt set I printed out I forgot to put the postcode on so had to scrap them!:D

could you ask oh's mate if he would prefer just going to the night do? tell him that way he has more time to recover? then youve got the space free, hope he turns up either way

im a bit down hearted today, i wanted to book the registrar which costs £130 deposit but OH needs the money for the stupid car insurance, i could pay it out of my wages on friday or wait til OH's next wage after insurance is paid which i think is november
oh well 24 months to go

Got no time for a friend to practise anyway, I've only got 3 days left, eek!

OHs mate isn't coming to the night, that's what he said yesterday, he said he would come ceremony and meal and won't miss those, but if he can come for those, he came come all day and night??? It doesn't make sense what he's saying. He's had a bike accident, spent 4 hours in A&E in soooooo much pain, then that night was back on a bike??

Pur bullsh!tter me thinks and I would rather his place went to someone else, if only he had the balls to say he wasn't coming :mad:




If you're gonna pay for the registrar on Friday, will your OH be able to give you half of it back? x

he would pay all of it but id have to wait till november, i dont really wanna use my wage this month as my debt is coming to an end so i upped the payments which means i only have about £155 left over for council tax, cant really miss paying that...again!
never mind, ill just have to hope no one else wants to book this early

ah i missed the bit about not coming to the night, no it doesnt make sense! x

Aww that's a pity, something always crops up doesn't it, but don't worry, you will feel so much better next month when it's all booked!


Oh my God I am so angry right now, OHs mate who I was talking about, was meant to be getting a lift off OH's other mate on Friday up here, and was staying at his, then they were coming to the wedding together. I've just looked at his facebook and he's got a night out planned for Friday!!! :mad: No wonder he has come out with all these bloody excuses, I don't know !!!!!! he is playing at!
