Just a quick note as I haven't been on recently - been busy with a house move.
Once we're all settled, we'll get back to wedding plans.
I'm really missing the form though, will keep an eye on it between jobs0 -
My parents have offered to pay for our church! It's so great of them, my dads bike was stolen from the garage recently and they've had to claim on the buildings, contents and bike insurance so have had 3 lots of excess to pay out which was a lot to pay out! I can't wait for OHs dad to bring it up as he keeps saying they can only offer us so much as my parents aren't contributing, they're in a totally different financial sitiation to my parents it's so irritating the way he keeps asking if they're putting anything to, and now they are he's not mentioned it again!!0

Thats lovely news Lexxi!
H2B and I are rather lucky that both sets of parents are in a reasonably stable financial state so are helping as much as they canSealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Lexxi - how peculiar of your in-laws!!! Must be a difficult situation because they're offered you money and you should be grateful for it... But if my in-laws kept saying that I'd be so tempted to tell them to eff off!!!
If anything, the fact that your parents weren't able to contribute would have made them want to help more you would have thought!!I love surprises!0 -
OH is older than me and his parents are now retired, there house is paid for they don't have pets and have a lot less to pay out, it's just annoyed me that they seem to be looking down on my parents, on the one hand I'd love to say nurr nurr are you going to put some more to the fund and the other hand thinks I should be grown up about it. I think it's just his way and the way he says things. What I'd want is to be able to pay for it all myself and not worry about them!0
