I don't know how you would distinguish the 50's-ness of the wedding outfit. To be honest I think I might just have a word and see if we can't sort something out cause I do want her to be part of our day as she's the only sibling we have between usSealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Did she know about the 50s theme? Maybe show her some other dresses online and suggest that she gets one of those? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

missk I have been shopping lol
http://www.interflora.co.uk/category/flower-arrangements/ middle left is big enough to split down add some ribbon you could make simple bouquet and have enough for a couple of button holes and maybe enough for 2 corsages (cant spell tonight)
http://www.goldcrownflowers.co.uk/Shop/Occasion/Congratulations.html theres quite a few on here they are cheaper so you could order 2 and they have free delivery
http://www.bloomindelightful.co.uk/Shop/By-Sentiment/Congratulations.html 1white rose bouquet 1 cream rose bouquet both for £45
looking around found that as long as you are open minded about the flower you can get loads cheaply and that if you look for congratulations bouquets sympath/condolances flowers they are loads cheaper than "wedding" flowers
have enjoyed my shopping hope you like what i've found xxxThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -

You're a star! Thank you very much!
I did find that you were better going for sympathy or other sorts of flowers.
I also found these: http://www.valueflora.com/cheapflowers/display/splash.html

Nunny girl, how about some polka dot shoes and a polka dot sash for round the waist in the same colour as your other BM? Would that help? x:heart2: Got Married on 30/4/11 :heart2:

I feel weird hanging round here these days, but I can't help myself coming back!
I suppose I have a wedding related question, does anyone know where's the best place to get thank you cards from? I'm starting the laborious task of going through all our cards and thanking everyone for the gifts/cash donations.trying to become a moneysaving student0 -
hi melly, i dont know what im going to do with my self once weve done the deed either, ill probably keep coming back lol!
what about vistaprint? they always(if you sign up) have free offers, you could use their postcards theres 100 free at the moment, you pay postage and you can have a wedding photo on the backI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
Panic over! Spoke to her last night and it seems darling niece was just rabbitting on about nothing! (typical niece!) She hasn't picked her dress yet so I've been sending her the sort of dresses we're looking for her to buy. She does know about the 50's theme and thats why I was getting upset (over nothing really!)
Thanks for the help though!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

If you haven't already decided nunny, I can totally recommend Vivienne of Holloway for the 50s theme, that's what my bridesmaids wore and they looked stunning!
And thank you so much for the tip bubbles, I'll check that out right now!trying to become a moneysaving student0 -
Thanks for that Melly
I have been looking at Vivien anyway for me but there's no way I'll get one in my size
I've been trying to get her to look at a dress she can wear after the weddingSealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -
