  • glad you had a good weekend bubbles! Not had malibu in a looooooong time, reminds me of being a student!

Well, the weekend wasn't too bad considering we were at a funeral yesterday. (and stuck with the in-laws all weekend. Has anyone seen the TV show Everybody Loves Raymond? My MIL2B is even nosier than his mother!)

Although we've decided to spend the next year concentrating on getting ourselves out of debt, rather than the wedding, we're still looking at wedding things, just not booking them!

On the way to OH's folks on Satruday, we stopped for a MacD's drivethrough. And parked next to us was a fab VW camper, with ribbons attached, it had just come from a wedding. Both myself and OH are big VW fans, and I've been wanting to hire one for my wedding car but couldn't convince OH. Well, he's now convinced after seeing how smart this camper was. Unfortunately, they are based about 180 miles from where we live, and unless you live within 20 miles of their base, there's a delivery charge on top of the hire charge, I'm too scared to even ask what the cost would be!

Also spied these cookies in a wedding mag (3rd row, 5th image down) and would love them as favours, but not at £3 a shot! So either I have to find them cheaper or may make them myself, if I can find a cookie cutter in that shape! I might ask the lady who is making my cake if she can do them, or help in some way, she's a family friend so hopefully she can. But if anyone can find anything similair cheaper, let me know!

Oooooooooooh! Spill! Where are you going?

We'd always planned to do a week in the Isle of Wight first and then see what was available for the next two weeks nearer the time, but we've just booked two weeks all inclusive in Sicily! So we now have all three weeks booked and sorted! :j

b2b12 do you mean 3rd column alongthey go down a page, rows go across, so we'r looking at the vw's? xx
gemm thats my budget too preferably under so i think the photog thread on here for under £500 is great!
it just comes down to what style you like now
do you like the group shots only or reportage(taken with out poses) or a mixture-which is what i want
then look at the photogs website of their galleries and see which photos you like and which you dont
i personally dont like staged fun shots so if someone has got them i tend to steer away but i obviously dont mind the caught in the moment fun shots iyswim!

ooo very nice clearing well done!

the first on is a very reasonable price especially for you to keep a CD with permission to print from

im not sure on the pricing for the second one, the same deal starts at £599 but you could find out what they mean for 'photo only service' which is £395

well you just need to feel comfortable with what the photog wants you to do and if there are any group shots you want ask them to do them, it looks like the first one will
go for it, thats another thing for you to tick off
i cant really do anything till next year when i get some deposit monies together
