(((hugs))) bride2be, you never know if you focus everything on your debts then you may have enough time and savings to still get married in 2012. you can always come on here for a wedding fix too.

So bubbles, your OH is two years into a 5 year plan to clear his debt and he wants to go back to the start and add an extra year? Has he looked into the bankruptcy process at all? They go through everything, all your paperwork etc and I'm sure they can make you bankrupt for longer if they think it's necessary, then he has to be discharged at the end of it. I saw your post on the bankrptcy boards, have they given you much help to go back to him with?

I'm off to my parents shortly, missy_moo has sent me her tiara and veil and it should arrive there today. Then I'm going to figure out how to sell stuff on ebay to raise some funds as it's free listing tomorrow and Monday!!

Oh I'm sorry to hear everyone seems to be having a tough time on here. I am not in debt (mortgage besides) but it must be the biggest worry - my heart goes out to you and yours.
I was just coming on to post cos I'm excited and noone in Chez Barb was interested. My friend has texted from Disneyland - her boyfriend proposed in front of Cinderella's castle last night and she said yes! :TIt has been her childhood dream that she would get engaged there and the wee gem has obviously been paying attention. She says it was the best night of her life - Disney, fireworks and a big rock!!! Her chap has also already booked her dream venue already for June 2012. :D
I wish Mr Barb2B was a bit more wedding savvy - or even more interested! :o He's not a bad lad, and can't wait for us to be married, and I can have whatever I want without a quibble, budget allowing, but I wish I didnt feel I was boring him. I know he doesn't care if his cravat matches my eyeshadow, but Ive noone else to rave to it about - yourselves excepting that is. Sigh :(

BarbC, I think that by leaving us to it they are involved, mine just seems to glaze over and I know occasionally I do't shut up but he was telling his daughter about our theme and the car she's going in and the conversations he's had with his mum, I was really impressed, even if he did sound like bubbles ;)

I've found it hardest with the dress, I love him coming shopping with me, I like to know what he thinks about stuff and his opinions and when I found the dress I wanted to ask what he thohght or phone him or something and I can't, it's really difficult for me.

My veil and tiara arrived yesterday and they are just what I wanted, :TI can't wait to put the whole thing together

I think I am prob just a bit too into it all tbh :o, and with my mam not wanting to hear any of it (both of us are divorced and she is mega-catholic) I just feel a bit isolated. He is happy to be involved and has gone with me for a lot of things, but doesnt care about the minutaea (spelling may be a tad out there!)like I do - just a bit of a whinge and no disrespect to himself.
I love getting the mags and looking at everyone's frocks and flowers and shoes on here though....keeps me out of mischief! ;)
