Because of the weekend we've chosen we've had to do things seemingly early, some photographers have told us they aren't available because they are in London for the Olympics!

Hi everyone, just popping back onto the board to say our minimoon was amazing, I can totally recommend Victoria Cottage in Settle, Yorkshire as a perfectly relaxing get-away. It's really reasonable prices to say it has a hot tub! And there is plenty to do and see in Settle with some lovely places to eat out.

Its back to "normal" life now, I'm a little sad its all over but I get to start the rest of my life together with my amazing hubby! And I do have the rather unexpectedly large amount of money we were given instead of gifts to spend on a honeymoon somewhere exotic haha.

gemm thats my budget too preferably under so i think the photog thread on here for under £500 is great!
it just comes down to what style you like now
do you like the group shots only or reportage(taken with out poses) or a mixture-which is what i want
then look at the photogs website of their galleries and see which photos you like and which you dont
i personally dont like staged fun shots so if someone has got them i tend to steer away but i obviously dont mind the caught in the moment fun shots iyswim!

Gemzie, I'm sure you'll be able to find at least one photographer that doesn't want to watch the olympics, though they may be in demand. I looked on gumtree for my photographer there are a lot of places that advertise, with discounts too.

I couldn't reply to any of these in my last post because I'm so excited about the photographer :rotfl::j

Hi, my package is 395 for all day for two photographers, egagement shoot and everything on cd for me to print, I found them doing an offer on gumtree, they are doing my wedding in manchester but are in the middle of moving to london as they have had loads of work down there, I'm not sure what area of london they'll be covering, I think they're near the edge but not sure which one!!

Having come down from the ceiling after booking the honeymoon, I have to apologise. When I wrote my post yesterday, I said I was going to Corsica. We're not. It's Sicily. I've always got those two islands mixed up!!

We've also booked our photographer. We're paying £550 for a disc of photos, so really jealous of your deal, Lexxi!

All that's left to do is for us to make the invites, sort out bridesmaids and groomsmen, flowers, get tiara and veil, OH's ring and book our first night away.
