Hi all, another £1 today to Barclaycard.
It's lovely and sunny and I'm going out to my nephew's sports day at school soon. He likes to see us there so meeting my mum and sister to cheer him on.
Well done to Silaqui for doing the right thing for that girl, hope it's not affected you too much.
Good luck with finding somewhere psycho. :beer:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

After Day 1 (MADNESS) of chewing gum constantly I had massive muscles in my jaw and it was so sore I couldn't eat properly for two days.
Best decision you will make :T
Thanks F_F! So far I'm not abusing the gum too much, just using it when I get worse pangs than usual. I still have a low-level uneasiness, but am hoping that'll fade. Me and da boy did really well in the pub last night too - we just got out the e-cigs and puffed at the bar. The locals hovered around us like a freak show wanting to be shown how they worked
But I did my good karma thing at the weekend - don't really want to have to do it again for a while though, it was scary...
Me and my friend went out on Saturday night, and in about the second pup we went to we nipped to the toilets. There was no loo roll, probably because it had been busy because of the match, so I was walking along the row looking for one that had tissue in when I saw a girl sitting in one of the cubicles, crying hysterically and kind of wringing her hands, with blood all over the place  I asked her what was wrong and if she was ok, and she just said "I'm horrible I'm horrible just go and have a good time" and tried to shut the door on me. At this point I noticed that she was holding the stem end of a broken wine glass, so I kind of pushed my way in and took it off her and I was kind of asking her what she'd done, she showed me her arms and she'd gouged right into them with this wine glass, there was blood everywhere. By this point my mate was out of the toilet and she ran down to someone from the bar and a first aid kit and stuff, and get them to call an ambulance, I was stuck there trying to keep this girl calm and get her to keep her arms in the air with pressure on, god it was awful. I've seen teenagers at school with those little catscratches that people do as a cry for help, this was miles worse - she'd really gouged deep down and the blood was almost pulsing out - I had her arm wrapped in an england flag and it soaked through so quickly, luckily we were in the city centre so the paramedics were there really quickly.
We ended up staying with her in A&E till the early hours and then her mum and dad came, but I don't want to have to go through that again in a hurry.

Whoa...well done Silaqui! Most people wouldn't want to get involved, but people like you make the world a much better place to live ineuronorris wrote: »Morning All,
Will post the total for yesterday a little later on.
Feel really bad for my sister. Her and her husband just had a 2 week holiday, came back on Saturday, went back to work yesterday and when they got home......they'd been burgled. TV, laptop, dvd player, new digi camera (with memory card with pics from hols not yet downloaded in it) etc etc are all gone.
I know they have contents insurance etc, but that's not the point. Some things can't be replaced, like those pictures, or a feeling of security (they smashed their way in through the bathroom window).
It's poop!
Oh lord, that's horrid. We had a burglary many moons ago in my family home and we disturbed them - my dad chasing them through the back garden. I remember finding an old Japanese jewellery box of mine smashed in the garden - it only had a kid's plastic stuff in, but the box was a present my uncle brought back when he was in the Army, and I was devastated. Thank you! And thank you for everyone else's comments also.
Mum just advised me that they took ALL of my sister's jewellery, including the ring my Grandma gave her and all the jewellery her husband has bought (which includes the wedding jewellery).
Bless my Mum, she only called to check if she preferred gold or silver, so she can buy her a few bits to cheer her up!
I'm gonna take some licquorice with me. Sister loves them and well, not much else I can offer at the moment.
Good luck with the flat/room hunting Psycho! And well done on the tickets win! Wahooooo!
Hugs to everyone who needs them!
