    Morning All,

Will post the total for yesterday a little later on.

Feel really bad for my sister. Her and her husband just had a 2 week holiday, came back on Saturday, went back to work yesterday and when they got home......they'd been burgled. TV, laptop, dvd player, new digi camera (with memory card with pics from hols not yet downloaded in it) etc etc are all gone. :(

I know they have contents insurance etc, but that's not the point. Some things can't be replaced, like those pictures, or a feeling of security (they smashed their way in through the bathroom window).

    It's poop!

Is there enough room for the overdraft and the card? If so, could you transfer the overdraft to 0% virgin, then pay the other MBNA taking you into your overdraft, then transfer the overdraft again...?

Not sure if the above is even possible, but if it is, you'll have all debt in one place, at 0%. See link below also, which covers super balance transfers.

Unfortunately not. The VCC has a limit of 2,200. The OD is a little under 1,500 and the other CC is around 2,400. :(

Me too, I wish I'd have got their number to see if she was ok but I didn't really want to ask at the time, it was all a bit emotional. I'm sure she was in good hands though.

Wow! Silaquai! You had quite a night. Are YOU OK? Stuff like that can easily reduce me to an emotional mess for a day or two.

Sorry to hear about your wrist. You should def see the doctor. There is a trauma associated with your injury, so you should get it checked out.

My Mum asked my old UK GP about my wrist and she advised that Ganglions very rarely show up on X-ray's, and my symptoms seem to match it, so she still thinks it's that. I still have to get that confirmed here on Monday of course, but at least I know I'm not going crazy!

Just had my workplace assessment. The woman was very nice.

My chair etc is all set up correctly, but I am getting a new keyboard and mouse. A roller mouse. To stop me from using the mouse at an angle (ie bending the wrist). She thinks they have one in stock, so should get it today. I'm not allowed to use the old mouse anymore.

Also looked at my 'workpace' thingy which told her that I was using the computer too much and am stationary too much, so I now have to follow the breaks dictated to me each time.

She is also going to provide me with a wrist support to wear at night (didn't know they went that far! Nice though).

Pretty good right! I know a lot of companies would barely even pretend to care.

  • Morning all.

Silaqui - well done for helping that girl. With a bit of luck (luck may be the wrong word there) it may have looked worse than it actually was - alcohol thins the blood and makes you bleed more. It also impairs judgement so she may not have meant to do it that hard.

Psychobabble, I think you've got a lot of answers on your other thead, but I voted "it depends on the girl". Personally I'd hate it and wonder if you knew me at all. (Laughed at the fish factory comment though!)

My PaD today is £16.51 to mortgage and crediat card
