And i had to take a days holiday to sit in the house waiting for the bed, well fingers crossed OH finds something else.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

I once had a full blown tantrum in the middle of Ikea when they were messing me about and I got sick of it. They also offered to deliver my brand new bed in a taxi which would mean folding the new mattress in half.:mad::mad:
Fingers crossed neither of you have to wait very long, and Flower, it'll be worth the wait when you are all sorted and snuggly in your new place xxBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

It doesn't need to be amazing. Sometimes the simplest things cheer us up no end. Like, finding a fiver on your way home from work, or getting an email from an old friend etc etc. At least it is for me, but then, maybe I'm just easily pleased! hahaha. Easily p'ssed off too though! lol
I hate waiting in for stuff. Surely they should do more evening and weekend deliveries now? I know it's unsocialable hours for the delivery guys, but when you've already paid out for furniture from them, you shouldn't also have to then forfeit a day's holiday too!
Oh, and I will tally up and post the total's later tonight. I know it's a bit late today, but got a lot to do at work, and I can't use my old mouse anymore, and my new one hasn't arrived yet! I miss the old mouse already! I instinctively reach for it too! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -

That is actually very truewhen we got the keys to the house I was looking in the kitchen cupboards and found £2.50, OH said he cant remember the last time I ever looked so pleased :rotfl::rotfl:
OH said to me last night that we can book our hotel to stay in for when we go to an old friends wedding next month - so I do have a lot to look forward.
I agree about the delivery times, I do think its bad that in this day they cant be more flexible or even tell you what time they will be there. They gave us a 12 hour slot today, couldnt even specify morning or afternoon - rediculous!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
My piece of good news is that the daily interest on my mortgage has reduced from £19.78 per day to £19.77  per day due the the overpayments I've been makingDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Sometimes, if OH has McDonald's for lunch, he'll get me a couple of burgers to heat up in the microwave. Makes me sooo happy. I know it doesn't taste as nice reheated, but I don't care! It's still tasty, I don't have to cook and he thought of me! Awwww! He's still always amazed at how happy it makes me! lol
12 hour slot?! That's rubbish! I mean, they must plan their routes for delivery, so it shouldn't be that hard to say: OK, you live in this area, we'll be there between 1 and 5pm. I know that still isn't great, but a vast improvement.
The shop I do my grocery shopping from here gives you 2 hour slots to choose from. They usually show up within the first 30 minutes of that slot too! So, it can be done! I suspect it must be either a) too boring for them to plan or b) costs extra.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Euro thats awful about the burglary, that must be horrible. I had my student house burgled (on Christmas Day no less!) and that was bad enough, all they took was my old computer.
Back in a bit to post properly and sort out a PAD.
