I was quite surprised that nobody had stopped to help before me, it was quite a busy pub. I'm less traumatised today though - rang the hospital earlier to see if I can find anything out, they wouldn't tell me much other than they'd patched her up and sent her home with her parents, and they they were sure she'd be referred on properly with any issues.

Euro thats awful about the burglary, that must be horrible. I had my student house burgled (on Christmas Day no less!) and that was bad enough, all they took was my old computer.

Back in a bit to post properly and sort out a PAD.

    xx

Well done for helping out the disressed woman Silaqui. I don't want to put a damper on it but if you end up touching blood, you must always ensure you have no small cuts/abrasions of your own in such a situation in case of infection. I would have helped too. Indeed I've known a lot of high risk people in my own life and have helped at times.
    Well done. You're a star.

    Hi all
Blimey the threads been busy since I was last on yesterday

Well done you Silaqui for helping that girl :T Hope she gets the help she needs.

It reminds me of my dad, last year or might have been year before :o (he takes my dogs out for me on an afternoon when I'm at work) and this day he took them to this walk way/field that I take them to and he spotted a guy sat near the stream, slashing his wrists, my dad went over to him and started chatting to him. He admitted that he was depressed, nothing to live for, his dad hated him etc., all the while forcing this knife across his wrist!! My lovely charming dad said don't be daft of course you've got stuff to live for and your dad will be upset at what your doing to yourself now son!

Dad got him to hand over the knife and persuaded him to let him take him to hospital. He managed to get his dad's phone number off him and rang to explain what was going on. My dad was there for 3 hours before his dad turned up and never got a thanks kiss my a$$ or anything from him! The hospital wouldn't give my dad any info at all when he rang later on.

We all pointed out to my dad tho how dangerous that was, the field is a big open space and apart from the odd dog walker, you don't see anyone!! He could've stabbed my dad and no one would've known til I got in from work and found the dogs not back!! And my dad's no spring chicken, even if he likes to think he is :D

Big congrats on getting a new job FF :T:T

Sorry to hear about your bed problems Flower :p hope you get it sorted soon xx

Sorry to hear about your sister's burglary Euro - I know how she feels, I've been burgled twice and both times we were all in bed!! It's horrible and I hope the little sh*tes willies turn green and drop off!!

I've been up since 5 am with Amber, she woke me up just as she was puking all over my bedroom carpet :( Went downstairs to let her out and to get cleaning stuff and that was it I was wide awake and so was Amber! poor baby, she was in and out of the garden throwing up and looking really sorry for herself! Lovely when it's my day off and I was looking forward to a lie in! great!!!! She's ok now tho, thank god!
