    Evening

Pad today is £20 to our loan pot and £1.30 to my hol spends pot

    Total - £21.30

Really need to get us back on track money wise, we seemed to have spent a fortune on grocerices this last month. I used to do online shopping but now OH takes us and i'm sure he must be sneaking stuff in while i'm not looking. We've spent 85% of our grocery budget for this month and we're only half way through it:o. Looks like i'm gonna have to be a meanie again and get strict with out shopping lists:cool:

    Hello everyone!

I feel like I haven't been on here in ages, hope I haven't missed too much! I have sooo many things to ramble on about - it's been an eventful couple of days...

First things first, my pad is 11p today please. Keeping them small this month but I made £80 in ebay sales yesterday so I will pad that at the end of the month.

Euro, you are not the only one with a bad arm now - at work we have these huge boxes that we keep the student's A3 folders in. I had to move one earlier to a different room, and as I picked it up I kind of twisted my hand, and promptly dropped the box - now my left wrist, when I bend it inwards, has a huge lump on the top and it looks like it had a dent in it. The other one is just normal. It is a bit sore, migt have to get it checked at the docs if I can get an appointment.

Another wierd pad parallel universe thing is that like Mary, I also have a broken appliance, in my case the washing machine. Grrr.

But I did my good karma thing at the weekend - don't really want to have to do it again for a while though, it was scary...
Me and my friend went out on Saturday night, and in about the second pup we went to we nipped to the toilets. There was no loo roll, probably because it had been busy because of the match, so I was walking along the row looking for one that had tissue in when I saw a girl sitting in one of the cubicles, crying hysterically and kind of wringing her hands, with blood all over the place  I asked her what was wrong and if she was ok, and she just said "I'm horrible I'm horrible just go and have a good time" and tried to shut the door on me. At this point I noticed that she was holding the stem end of a broken wine glass, so I kind of pushed my way in and took it off her and I was kind of asking her what she'd done, she showed me her arms and she'd gouged right into them with this wine glass, there was blood everywhere. By this point my mate was out of the toilet and she ran down to someone from the bar and a first aid kit and stuff, and get them to call an ambulance, I was stuck there trying to keep this girl calm and get her to keep her arms in the air with pressure on, god it was awful. I've seen teenagers at school with those little catscratches that people do as a cry for help, this was miles worse - she'd really gouged deep down and the blood was almost pulsing out - I had her arm wrapped in an england flag and it soaked through so quickly, luckily we were in the city centre so the paramedics were there really quickly.
We ended up staying with her in A&E till the early hours and then her mum and dad came, but I don't want to have to go through that again in a hurry.

Sorry for rambling post but it was quite traumatic and I've been needing to go on about it all day! Just seems awful that a young, pretty young girl could get to that state where that seems to be the answer.

Anyway sorry for bringing a downer on the thread:o Hope you all had a good weekend!

Didnt see what you wrote Angelic but by the sounds of it its something not very nice! So big hugs your way and just remember not everyone is as ignorant as that  i would say i hope you manage to sort things, but it sounds like you dont need a relationship with someone who upsets you and your family so much.

Yeah it was awful, I didn't really want people seeing it which is why I edited my post!!

I just don't understand why people would go out of thier way to say hurtful things?

Me too, I wish I'd have got their number to see if she was ok but I didn't really want to ask at the time, it was all a bit emotional. I'm sure she was in good hands though.
