you've got me thinking now - and that doesn't happen much ha ha! :o

i developed sciatica when i was pregnant, too - but it hasn't completely gone away. every now and then i am struck with a bout that renders me useless. maybe i need to revisit the insole. my difference is a bit bigger than yours, though - which makes shoes feel really strange because my foot is not really inside properly at the back. food for thought, though!

happy mother's day, all! xxx (i'm lying in bed for the first lie-in since we got the puppy, awating my cuppa!) :D

I have that problem with shoes as well - I tend to wreck them at an alarming rate because my heel is much higher at the back than it should be. Shoe shopping is a nightmare too, because shoes need to fit both feet reasonably, one with insole and one without!

It's worth it though to relatively free of symptoms(I would be a lot freer of symptoms if I lost a bit of blubber!)

Thanks, yes you can call me that, I answer to most things!

PaD is 28p to the slummy jar (all found on DS bedroom floor while helping him blitz it) - in return he is going to help me blitz downstairs today as a Mothers day treat !!!:rotfl:Bless!
He knows I hate the expense of shop bought cards and the whole marketing hype, he would make me a card but thinks its cheeky to use my craft stuff, so he is compromising by being extra helpful.

Having said that it does depend what time he gets up as he's on nights tonight.

I am rather annoyed (and despairing!) at OH this morning - it appears that he was under the mistaken impression that the weekly money he gives me covers the food shopping as well as the household bills.........er, no!

As I explained to him this morning (not for the first time, I'm sure!) the idea was that he gives me half the money for the household bills and then he contributes to the food shopping by actually doing some! This came out this morning because he has run out of coffee and he was expecting me to pay for some more (bear in mind I don't drink it!)

I do wonder what planet he is on sometimes! As I pointed out to him, we would never survive if we had to rely on his income alone (see my diary for why this is a moot point!)

Anyway, rant over, today's PADs are £5.14 to Evil Egg and £1.14 to Abominable Amex, making a total today of £6.28

Got card and choccies from DS this morning so that has soothed my mood somewhat!

  • Morning all and happy mothers day to all you monthers out there and big hugs to those of you whose mothers are no longer around :o I'm off to see an old school friend later who lost her mum in December and she's understandably finding it hard at the moment.

    Yesterday's total was £448.83

Got a lovely card from DS that he made at nursery. Was meant to be the one having a lie in this morning - DS has a habit of getting up early on non-school days! - but my [STRIKE]dear[/STRIKE] sh!tbag OH is still asleep!! He went to the shop last night, then to the pub 'for one pint' and staggered in at 0230!! Which I was fully expecting:mad::o C0ckhead! Sorry about the naughty swears on a Sunday :o

No PAD for me today, as need to work out how much money is left :o

Have a good day everyone :)

I didn't get a lie in this morning. OH was awake early as he is on a split shift today and I was so annoyed at him I was wide awake so I thought I might as well get up!

At least I haven't got to go out today. My Dad and SM are going to my stepsister's today so I went up to see them yesterday instead, to give card and flowers to my SM and to go to the churchyard to put flowers on my Mum's grave.

Forgot to say - Happy Mother's Day to all, and big hugs to all those, like me, whose Mums are no longer around. xxx
