belated congrats to gilli on the job :j - forgot to say yesterday, got too excited about legs being shorter than each other!
will be keeping up with the thread but probably not padding much anytime soon - it's all budgeted for, but i have an expensive month with car repair (suspension gone), leah's spaying/hernia op and a few other things. so all "spare" money is ensuring that i don't go into debt, rather than building up savings or overpaying more on mortgage...:money:
have a great saturday, sun shining here! :jMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

I will probably only be padding change for a while as need to work out the effect of working. I won't be able to do my part time work so will have to use savings until wages from new job come through. Also as it is contract, have to decide how I want to get paid.
The other thing is, I've put weight on since finishing work so nothing fits properly and will have to nip to Mr A or Mr T and get some cheap tops and trousers for work.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

This letter was sent to the Lions Bay School Principal's office after the school had sponsored a luncheon for seniors. An elderly lady received a new radio at the lunch as a door prize and was writing to say thank you.
This story is a credit to all humankind.
Dear Lions Bay School ,
God bless you for the beautiful radio I won at your recent Senior Citizens luncheon. I am 84 years old and live at the West Vancouver Home for the Aged. All of my family has passed away. I am all alone and I want to thank you for the kindness shown to a forgotten old lady. My roommate is 95 and has always had her own radio; but before I received one, she would never let me listen to hers, even when she was napping.
The other day her radio fell off the nightstand and broke into a lot of pieces. It was awful and she was in tears. She asked if she could listen to mine, and I told her to !!!! off.
Thank you for that opportunity.
Sincerely,
EdnaDebt @ LBM - £25,722 Debt now - £11,811 DFD - April 2012
