My ex OH was in the RAF at Kinloss (?) so was never going to be at the hospital. I went into labour in the early hours of a Friday morning, couldn't ring him as he was in barracks, rang him once DS was born, he then found out he couldn't get leave that weekend so went on a bender, got put on a charge and didn't see his son for another 4 weeks. He came home on a weekend pass, so couldn't go with me to the registry office, the next time I saw him was when he moved his stuff out. The next I heard from him was when some men with baseball bats arrived at the door wanting back the £10k he had lost gambling.:eek:And then I found out he had taken out over £7k in loans in my name ( this was in the days before fancy systems, you just filled the form in and they sent you the cheque)
Those were the days :rotfl:
Now that's what i call a story! :rotfl:One step at a time0 -
