No I'm married just that I deal with finances (not very well obviously)
It's cold but sunny here too in Leeds.
How do you write all them things on the bottom of your posts?

Wow a man who does finances:T

have to say not many of you around, would never dawn on my OH to do our finances, he's a bit like Prince Phillip, someone has to follow him around paying for things:rotfl::rotfl:

Go into User CP (control panel) and you then go into edit signature, and your away.

Morning all,Its very cold up here in the north east, but the sun is shining!! Over the weekend I bought myself some seeds and have sown them ready for my greenhouse - arrives in about 2/3weeks. I decided I would buy one as fruit and veg are ridiculous prices so im hoping to recoup my outlay back within 1 year, and of course friend/rfamily will reap the benefits also.

Looking forward to this birthday party! It will give me a chance to wear something I bought years ago and still has the tags on. Made just over £200 on ebay over the weekend so must get some more things on. Im hoping to get rid of one debt end of May so very little helps.

    Have a great day all.

    Afternoon to you Doris,

You are being very industrious growing your own vegetables, I wish I had the time to do that, but once I finish work I will take it up, and you can advise me what to grow, They are certainly cheaper and taste so much nicer.:T

Well done on the ebay sales, its amazing how much you can get for things. :T I find it is a chore, taking photos, writing the information on each garment, and worst of all, the queuing in the Post Office. But you have spurred me on, and I am going to list some long dresses and evening gowns this weekend. They are hung in the wardrobe, waiting for a cruise that is a long time coming,.....and won't be in the forseable future. I am sure some of them have never been worn.!!! How many of us are guilty of having clothes which are brand new.??

    Afternoon PDD.:hello: :D

You sound as if you are having the same sunny weather we are having here in Yorkshire. Bring on the spring/summer......I used to like winter, but since I got older I much prefer early summer. Plus I can get the washing dried outside for FREE....my favorite word.:D It's a good job I don't work from home, I wouldn't get anything done.! My time would be filled with MSE and my hobby which is Genealogy. :)

Your OH sounds like mine, he wouldn't know how much we paid for any utilities, insurances etc, but he says I am like the Queen, because when I am out with him, I never carry money.:rotfl::rotfl:

Off to make a coffee.......would anyone like one?

Well done thewad......as PDD says.....a man who deals with finances, you must be a rarity. Is your OH working with you on your debt-free journey?. I am from Yorkshire, born and bred, but I thought we Yorkshire folk had a reputation for being careful with money????? :o You and I must be an exception.!! Perhaps we are late starters.......I know that now I think twice about spending anything. I'm a , " Won't spend a penny if a ha'penny will do," kind of person now.:D

And while we are on the subject, what about you PDD, I thought Scots were canny folk and careful too?;)

PDD has answered your query on the signature, if you get stuck, yell again.

    And I've got my signature.
    Oh well back to work.
How long after submitting paperwork does the welcome pack arrive?

Well done to you both for getting this far.....its pretty scary stuff, but believe me it gets easier and you get tougher.!! And its definitely easier when you have someone to share the journey with.

We are with Payplan and if I remember correctly it was about 10 days before we got everything sorted out. Our delay was with ourselves sorting out a new bank account and getting our salaries paid into the new account. We just missed the cut off date with our Payroll departments and had to wait a bit longer. I had a telephone appointment on the 21st Jan 2008 and our first payment went to Payplan on the 3rd March. Perhaps its slightly different with CCCS, but I would imagine it will be along similar time scales. Don't worry, it wll get sorted out.:T

Hi all, just got home from work, I walk other peoples dogs for a living. Its great in days like this but the other days - well lets not go there - but I bought myself a old mink from ebay and it really keeps me warm. So if your out one cold day and you see an mature mink wearing female who is being dragged along by a couple of unruly dogs then you know thats me lol

Planted some tomato/lettuce/spinnach/rocket seeds yesterday and shall have a little talk to them today to get a move on. Just spent £7 at lidli for a few salad stuff, but bearing in mind the assistant charged me 99p too much (got it back) think of how much I shall save when I have my own stuff to eat. Just been told by a friend that you can use the seeds from a tomato/pepper dry them out and then plant them, saves buying the seeds, well we learn something every day.Must just add that when Im shopping now I always check my receipt because I have found on numerous occasions I have been overcharged, funny how its never undercharged.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Doris, what a ray of sunshine you are:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

i have this mental picture of you belting about in a mink:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I've got a doggie here who could do with a walk, don't know if I would trust him with the mink though, he might eat it or do something unmentionable to it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
