    3 letters from Lloyds/TSB today.
One was my cc statement telling me I hadn't paid the minimum amount and the interest had taken me over my limit and please contact soonest.
The next was an aknowledgement of my letter stating my financial position and a promise that they would not contact me for 30 days while I set up my plan.
The 3rd was the killer 2 BALANCE TRANSFER CHEQUES.

Left hand right hand springs to mind.

God.......Lloyds, they are unbelievable. I would contact them and see if they will freeze the interest, I don't hold out a great deal of hope, but its worth a try. When I had to contact them at the beginning of our plan, I was so scared, but I have learned that its not a crime being in debt, and that you are making the effort to pay everything back. I remember once yelling at them, saying they were supposed to be the listening bank and it worked, they stopped adding interest to my overdraft......they still kept it on the CC though.!

Lloyds, talk about right and left hands, and this mob are like an octopus and they still don't know what they're doing. They did stop our interest on OH's card but are just ignoring me, despite a couple of protracted telephone calls. I spoke to what sounded like an "older" gentleman who when I explained we were on a DMP, asked me why I couldn't pay my bills as I was giving money to the BNP absolutely true, talk about numpties?

    Welcome nanna..:hello:

Join in with us oldies, have a chat, a grumble....anything you like....It's all free.!!

    Here is your number. 8.

We are just beginning this thread, and I now realize that there are more of us oldies than I first thought there were. Your son is lucky to have you to help out with the kids....that's what we grandma's do, but as you say it means that you can't work. I think we all feel the same, "at our age we should have known better than to get into debt " but that's life. It's onwards and upwards.:T
