Hi Doris,
I bet you are nice and slim with all that walking you must do. I could have done with someone like you to walk my dogs when I worked full time, it was a constant worry to me that they were cooped in for a good 10 hours. I no longer work full time and unfortunately we no longer have any dogs, they both died a few years ago and we have decided that whilst we still work, we wont have another one.
I agree with you, I have recently started checking my receipt in the supermarket, I mentally add up as I am going round, so I generally have a good idea on how much it should be. But I must confess that today I was undercharged for a stamp when I went to the post office, I didn't fully realize until I was on my way home, but I am certainly not going to tell them now. OMG, will I sleep tonight with the worry??

i have this mental picture of you belting about in a mink:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I've got a doggie here who could do with a walk, don't know if I would trust him with the mink though, he might eat it or do something unmentionable to it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
you are right, as always PDD.....she is a ray of sunshine and we are lucky to have her.

But all of them keep changing minds about marketing plans, so was trying to catch up today, not a lot doen to be honest, they are too undecided, will have to slap a few heads then knock together, and then maybe get some sense????More than Two Years in

Violence becomes you PDD. Sort 'em out girl. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: My OH is in Health and Safety and he despairs sometimes, no one listens and when they do listen they don't always act on the advice given.
I just work part time in retail, used to have a stressful job, office based, but then developed a dicker ticker.....so that had to go. That was probably the beginning of our money troubles, its hard to go from a full time salary to 20 hours, but in the long run, its done us a favor. I think it brings it home to you that we are not going to be here forever......but by god whilst I am I am going to enjoy it.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You better believe it. You sometimes spend ages sorting stuff out and then no one listens to a word you say! I do it all, they all nod their heads and the minute I'm out the door they just forget, no wonder I sometimes take an aperitif.
Feel better as didn't have to argue with anyone to-day, head knocking starts tomorrow.More than Two Years in

Interesting article on the Scottish news tonight, Scottish government (knew they had to of some use at some time)have had an investigation into the way three "nationalised banks" are behaving and have basically said not fit for purpose. Too busy paying bonues, not treating business right and not treating debtors in the correct manner, making it much more difficult to deal with them. Hope this has some effect on their attitude, (I know it was the Scottish government!!!), also noted that this report wasn't mentioned on national newsMore than Two Years in

Just checked my online banking and nothing untoward happening there, still have money in the bank.!! :T
We have quite a few birthdays to contend with in March, and of course Mothers day too. I tend to buy in the sales, especially just after christmas when Boots have their sale. I wait for the 75% off and buy as much as I can afford. I usually have quite a stash of gifts to use for presents during the year. I also save £60 a month in my sealed pot challenge, to use for christmas presents. :xmastree: It's the only way I can cope with it all, I have quite a large family and although I have cut down on who I buy for, it can still be expensive.
How does everyone else manage birthdays and christmas?

That's about right....out of the 2 banks we deal with, i.e. Lloyds and Barclays neither have been particularly helpful.. and I know that we are responsible for our debts, but I also feel that the banks must take some responsibility for irresponsible lending.!! They were always sending us letters saying that we had paid off £x amount off our loan, and we could borrow another £x amount just be extending our agreement by another so many months. Yes I know that no one forced us to take advantage of it, but how many times do people think that by borrowing more and "paying off" something else, is a good idea. We tried that several times and ended up more in debt than ever........Dopey or what.:o
