How a mother could walk away from her children is something I will never be able to get my head around.! I am sure they fully appreciate you being there for them, and its naturally what you would want to do. My son and his wife split up, and we had 2 grandchildren who were very young at that time. We found it very stressful, worrying about him, her and especially the kids. But its now 5 years ago, and they, I wont say get on, but tolerate each other, and the kids have adjusted to having 2 homes.....I think we found it harder, because we have been married almost 40 years, and I still find divorce/splitting up difficult to understand. Not that I am old fashioned, but I think it can be too easy these days. I really don't believe people who say that they never have a wrong word.......but I think there has to be give and take in a relationship. or as my OH say's "he gives and I take ":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

knackered on saturday.No other contact. I get to do all the mom things.

I bet Lloyds don't follow this. We have asked them to reduce or freeze interest for the past 2 years and all we got was a big fat NO :mad::mad::mad:

Hi everyone

I thought I'd just pop by and say hello:hello:
I have spent most of the morning filling in an application form Its one job that I really really hate. I know I'll never get a job if I don't do it but I still don't like them.

I decided to try and wipe our my banana glut yesterday (but then found that the freezer still doesn't have much space in it) so just ended up making 2 small banana and raisin cakes. They are so heavy:eek: I really don't know what I did wrong but they taste OK and no cake ever lasts long in our house.

I try to stick to natural remedies for colds Elsie ( brandy and lemon with hot water and sugar - thats my excuse anyway):rotfl:I hope you are on the mend soon.

Its dull and yucky here so I am going to try and finish my book this afternoon.
