Nanny guess I feel similar, son, wife and 2 grandchildren out in china, they were over here at christmas, and last year (August) he was diagnosed with a brain tumour (thankfully benign, and fully recovered, but at the time....... so I used the credit cards to get there and to buy respite care for OH) but wont be able to do that again, so excuses excuses). On a lighter note, sun trying to shine, and the windows are showing signs saying"clean me" off we go then xxx

It's very quiet on here today.!:(

All my chores done, and the last load of washing is on the line. Ebay is doing okay, I have just got 1 bid so far, fingers crossed for the next couple of days. Coffee time now, and a sit down for half an hour, I might just do a bit of knitting, although the danger of sitting down, is that sometimes I nod off.!!! Must be an age thing, never used to do that.! :o:o

PDD is still missing, no reported sightings so far. !!

  • ITS ME I'M HERE!!!!

Sorry folks, two day training thingy for the pesky small businessmen's sidekicks, so extended opportunities for strangulation. Have survived and no outstanding convictions, but it was HARD.

just plugging along, almost felt like a normal person cos been on the company credit card at a nice hotel for two days, at least it wasn't my dosh.

Welcome all the Newbies, feel lucky to-day, we have our problems but everybody mostly healthy and near at hand, sometimes too near ie top left bedroom eating everything in sight and playing guitar at full pelt while nurturing a pile of suppurating old rugby kit from the week before last..................but I love him really..........

Nice to see you back and still enjoying your freedom....I was beginning to think you had succumbed to doing something nasty to someone and were paying the price, or you had won the lottery and deserted us forever.!! :D

    Evening all.

Just received a letter from one of my CC's saying that if I don't pay my arrears up to date within 7 days there going to pas the debt on to a 3rd party.
I'm not sure but I believe this is actually good news, can anybody clarify??

    Good morning everyone.

Hope you are all keeping well.:)

I am not going in to work today, I have had a wracking cough for about a week now, and it will not clear up._pale_ Rang the doctors on Monday, but no appointments left, tried again yesterday morning, but by the time I had tried getting through for about 3/4 of an hour, I gave up. :wall: So its a case of heal thyself.!! So I'm staying home today and keeping warm, plenty to drink, of the water, tea, coffee type.

Checked my banking and everything is still as it should be, DDs coming out on time etc. I got my gas and electricity bills yesterday, and I was absolutely dreading them, but I got a lovely surprise and I was in credit on both accounts. :T Only by .97p on one and .82p on the other, but it all helps. We live in a one bedroom flat, and cook with gas. Gas bill £89. and electric £59. To say we have had one of the coldest winters for years, I am really pleased. We are very careful with the heating, we put jumpers on etc and keep the heating low. Has anyone else had their bills yet.?

Need more coffee, be back later.:coffee::coffee::coffee:
