Sorry but you said you were blind and thats why I included sight issues.
The rest you said is equally true, you dont have a clue about diffrent disabilities or what diffrent disabilities need to make things accessable, maybe when you have a broard eduction about disabilities you may understand.
Venues need educating but ignorant rantings just provide more hostities to disabled people in general and an excuse to make sure none of us are accomadated.
Have anyone here actually thought of anyone but themselves?
Unlike you, I have.
It must be cold up there though?

How do you manage to sit next to people for hours on a plane when you can't manage this in a cinema?0 -

Probably because you can get up and stretch on a plane, and can't in a cinema without annoying everyone.
I struggle to sit still through a film, and would imagine it would be easier on a plane by taking walks and stretching out. But I haven't been on a plane since I was a baby, so I don't know."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -

.
But the OP said she had
"panic and anxiety atacks to... tourettes causes spasms in my legs and arms, so not nice to sit next to someone and end upo jabbing them when i twitch, not to mention havin a pannic attack if people are to close to me."
which sounds to me far more difficult in a plane than in a cinema. After all,you can get up and walk out if you have a panic attack in a cinema, which is pretty hard to do in a plane!0 -

Perhaps if she sits next to the window, with her boyfriend next to her, she feels safe?
I don't know, I've never had anxiety attacks as such. I would be worried about having one on a plane, yeah, but perhaps she takes sleeping pills to get her through the flight or whatever?
There are probably ways to get around it if you really want to fly."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -

You get on a plane once in a blue moon you should be able to go to the cinema whenever you want to you.
Honestly what do people get out of trying to pick holes in everything a person posts on here? It's an advice forum not the Spanish inquisition!"Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0 -

I'm always interested when people can manage certain things when it suits them and not when it doesn't. This seems to be one of those situations.0 -

Well, by some of the comments on this thread, disabled people should just stay at home and stop whinging. They shouldn't hope that public facilities provide reasonable adjustments so they can enjoy activities like everyone else. And if they point out difficulties, they are complainers, playing the disabled card, wanting special treatment, etc.
Going to the cinema is pretty much agony for me, because I can't sit still, there isn't enough leg room, even if I sit at the end of an aisle (and if I sit at the front I have to look up which hurts my neck.) If there was a way I could have leg room and not kill my neck, I'd be thrilled I could go to the cinema, which was something I used to love to do."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0
