Did you ask when the signed and audio visual discription shows were so you could go to them?

But your not a wheelchair user and the other disabled seats were taken so go back when there are seats available, you are not special and no one will create a space just for you in the same way as ABs arnt allowed in the wheelchair seats either.
Things in large print are wasted on me but are essential for S/VI disabled people, disabilities are all diffrent and while the law says reasonable adjustment should be made its not for you to choose what they are and throw a tantrum when you cant get your own way.
And any racism is heinous, no matter how many excuses you want to make for it.
there are 12 SEATS available, nobody in a wheelchair! and i didnt throw a tantrum! i just left the cinema and cried because i was tired and had little children thinking its fun to point at people who are different!
i know its a bad thing, but im not racist as i have already said, i couldnt care less if some 1 is black white or pink with green spots!DON'T JUDGE ME, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE FELT, OR WHAT I FEEL RIGHT NOW! SO FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME, THAN JUDGE SOMEONE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!0 -
OP
If I was you I would complain to the manager of the cinema- the chairs set aside are for people who are disabled, and who receive dla or who are registered blind. You clearly are classed as disabled so I really dont see what all these people on here are going on at you for. You do not always need to use a wheelchair if you are disabled!
People who do not have any disabilities or who do not have family/friends who have disabilities have really no idea about the difficulties we face, i e just going to the cinema, and no we do not pre book as we can not see how we are gonna feel about going out so we just dont.
Let us know how you get on!0 -

There are disabled seats available in cinimas, they are seperate from wheelchair spaces, diffrent disablities need diffrent adjustments and whats an adjustment for one is dangerous for another.
No one has the right to places because they are disabled, would all of you that cant understand that like to sit on the floor? Because thats whats there for wheelchair spaces.......
I book everywhere or get there very early to guarntee me a place, the OP didnt and chucked her toys out of the pram because she wasnt allowed to sit in an areas reserved purerly for wheelchair users and there families, I once booked disabled seats when I could walk with crutches and got there to discover that there were no seats at all and none could be found which is why most theaters etc. wont reserve disabled seats on line at all so that each customer can be accomadated since disabilities vary so much and many people have more than one disability too.
Another thing that you are clearly ignorant too is the space allowed for wheelchairs in cinimas, you acctually get one chair in a space reserved for two and thats in my childs wheelchair.0 -
Well good grief what a lot of nonsense! Is it some sort of competition now who's disability entitles them to more than the other person?
Frankly if there's 12 seats (next to spaces) that are reserved for wheelchair users and the film is full but there aren't any wheelchair users there then any tom !!!!!! and harry should be allowed to sit in them and watch the film instead of them remaining empty just for the sake of it.
However for some people their dissability isn't as specificaly catered for as wheelchair users are and if somebody with severe torrets needs a seat with some space (and no offence to the OP but if you'll be nudging me or sniffing me or whatever else then I'd rather not be sat next to you) then since there is no 'torrets' seating available but the wheelchair areas are suitable then she should be equaly entitled to sit there because regular seating isn't suitable for her either. Different reasons sure but it's still a dissability and there's no reason any one should be more worthy of being catered for than another.
There have been some ridiculous posts and I don't know why some people feel the need to be so judgmental and so combative what's that going to achieve? Why do it?
You'd think other people with dissabilities would be the most understanding towards you as a dissabled person but in some cases it seems that they can be even worse than non dissabled people. Why the he'll is that?
I can see the case for getting narked by people playing the benefits system thinking their broken leg might get them DLA or something else that's clearly a bit fishy but people we know have a dissability whichever one it might be, don't need to be grilled and judged on the worthyness of their dissability and needs."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0 -

Im going to a signed theater show next week, want to come?
No of course you dont because you will be sitting in the dark and missing things because you are SVI, disabilities are diffrent and require diffrent adjustments and I bet you dont fancy a few dark steps to trip you up when the lights are down either, runwaylights and/or flouresent markings can help you but they dont help 3/4s of disabilities.
I can see your other point going down so well, let anyone have the wheelchair/companion seats and b u g g e r us all then.
I hope that you get your way the next time you and your kids want to see a film, especially the first weekend of a big film which people have had booked/lined up for for hours to bag a seat for, see how you feel then.
Being disabled dosnt give you god given rights to get your own way, the OP keeps coming up with the reasons that she couldnt get tickets like everyone else and takes no responsibility for anything either, obviously the world owes her special treatment but alas, I am only disabled and I have to book/queue for seats like everyone else.0 -

I went to the cinema last October and went into the screen area which is dark, with just a few spot light type things. I was scared sh!tless because I thought there might be steps and I was going to fall. Luckily, there wasn't steps; but it is still scary.Sealed pot challenge #232. Honestly I haven't a clue what the relevance is to most of what you've said but oh well.
I see very well in the dark as I have day blindness but again no idea on relevance.
Yes if there's 12 empty dissablet area seats empty and no dissabled' people there when the film is starting then they should let 12 abled bodied people have them rather than miss out and the seats sit empty who's that a problem for if there's nobody there who needs them anyway? But still it wasn't my main point.
I don't think any of the points I've made will make any difference though some people just like being high and mighty and having a go at people for no real reason and to serve no real purpose other than maybe some seeded satisfaction for that person.
There really is way way too much negetivity in the world these days, if you've nothing helpfull to add then just leave her alone and find something else to do."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0 -

Sorry but you said you were blind and thats why I included sight issues.
The rest you said is equally true, you dont have a clue about diffrent disabilities or what diffrent disabilities need to make things accessable, maybe when you have a broard eduction about disabilities you may understand.
Venues need educating but ignorant rantings just provide more hostities to disabled people in general and an excuse to make sure none of us are accomadated.
Have anyone here actually thought of anyone but themselves?
Unlike you, I have.0
