reserved as in kept by in case, the layout is a space and a chair next to the space, and they are at the back to the side, i always sit there as i cant cope with people i dont know next to me. there was nobody in the cinema with a wheelchair. oh and i did notice that the form tht you fill in for the tickets with the cea card had 2 people signed off for the film at the time we wanted to go!DON'T JUDGE ME, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO. She should have either booked or got there earlier.

panic and anxiety atacks to... tourettes causes spasms in my legs and arms, so not nice to sit next to someone and end upo jabbing them when i twitch, not to mention havin a pannic attack if people are to close to me. so yes i have every reason to sit int he seats for the disabled away from othersDON'T JUDGE ME, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO. let me just clairfy these are SEATS we are talking about, there was NOBODY in the cinema with a wheel chair! my problems mean i cant sit next to people i dont now un less they like being jabbed every couple of secconds or have soemone sniffing in their ear. or even have some 1 having a panic attack because they are too close, if it was a whole row with no seats for people in wheel chairs to use then yes that would b fine! i couldnt pre book as i only had cash!DON'T JUDGE ME, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO. I've pre booked with cash. I just went into the cinema and said I wanted a ticket for next week, gave the film name and time, showed ID for student discount and got my ticket there and then.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Just becuase you are able to manage to get to the cinema to prebook, doesn't mean the OP can.
Although it is possible, prebooking at the cinema isn't viable for everyone. If its anything like my local cinema, I wouldn't want to have to go pre-book with cash.
I had to go prebook alice in wonderland as they didnt want to accept my CEA card over the phone (Been no problem before!), after climbing 3 flights of stairs to discover the seats at the back had been booked out in the time i was climbing them, I started to wonder if it was really worth seeing the film there or if I would of been better off paying £20 a ticket vs £7 and a taxi fare to go see it at the next closest 3d cinema!
I'm also confused as to why people are trying to judge that the OP doesn't have a real need for these seats. Nor is the guy which told them that they don't at the cinema.
I get it a lot, people instantly persume that becuase my disability isn't "visable" that I'm not actually disabled. Sometimes it makes me wish I just accept that I should be in a wheelchair rather than trying to keep myself managing without one, becuase of people which try to judge without actually knowing anything about the person.0 -

yes, unfortunately people asume my tourettesis swearing, in reality it causses mobility problems too, i ahve to pay extra on planes for extra leg room due to the twitches. im apauled that some people on here seem to think that i dont have a real disability, id love for them to have just one day in my life.
p.s... thats for all the HELPFULL and POSITIVE replies.DON'T JUDGE ME, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE FELT, OR WHAT I FEEL RIGHT NOW! SO FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME, THAN JUDGE SOMEONE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!0 -
So did the OP just need 1 of the wheelchair user seats or 2?
You just can't have it all ways. If the only seats left were designated for wheelchair users only then you need to be in a wheelchair to use them. Seems fairly simple to me.
Everyone moans like crazy about people using the disabled parking spaces in supermarkets etc when they are not disabled so where's the difference in using a designated wheelchair user seat when you don't use one?0 -

No-one said that you don't have a real disability, they were just questioning if you had a real need to use one of the seats reserved for wheelchair users.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
