can i suggest mupette you just add Kim to your ignore list it would solve the issue ..
however te vue cinema chain usually only have 1 seat next to and empty space for wheel chair users and their carers
it may be that yours is different however thy could have allowed you to sit there if they werent being used but there is not guarentee that there would be seats together
I personally think that whilst you could complain - im not sure what you would actully achieve on this occassion

if they have a cea card they are disabled thfore they should be able to use disabled seats whatever there need is
It depends what their disability is. My nephew has one of these cards. He's autistic. He wouldn't have any need for a special disabled seat. Apart from wheelchair users and people with physical disabilities I can't see the need for a special disabled area. If a film is sold out, and you don't have a physical need that means that you need more room/no steps, then you should be treated like everyone else. I've often went to the cinema and not got in because it's full. I live 40 miles away and I don't book my seats over the phone because you can't pick where you want to sit - and i'm not doing that incase i'm put in the front row (sore neck/square eyes!) It's inconvenient and annoying but can't really be helped. I just have to go to a later showing/different film/not go.0 -

I could apply for a CEA Card if I wished, despite not having a need to. From what I can gather, I don't the OP had a genuine need to use the seats, and therefore shouldn't feel upset or discriminated against.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
To apply for the card, you will need to meet one or more of the following criteria:
a) Be in receipt of the disability living allowance or attendance allowance.
b) Be a registered blind person

The card entitles you to a free ticket for an assisting companion. It does not entitle you to anything else. You do not get to skip queues, you do not get to sit in special seats.
It is bonkers to suggest that every screen should have hundreds of seats set aside only for the card holders. The disability accommodation the CEA card provides is that their companion who is there to assist them does not pay for a ticket.
My advice is very simple - try again another day. Don't make ridiulous specious claims about disability rights that are (rightly) left open just so that genuine grievances can be accommodated.0 -

Exactly, I receive DLA, but I don't have any need to sit anywhere special.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
