Plansd for today have gone tits up as usual thanks to the rather liberal spraying of the house with liquid shoite.
Courtesy of a farmer, I hope! And presumably he was meant to be spraying a field, not your house? The end of month gubbins has finally arived with another major reduction in debt to just over 15K which sees us teetering on the verge of achieving another milestone (admitedly again) but progress is being made steadily.

Oh yes, sadly a farmer with a defective spray nozzle. Don't think hes realised just how high up the jet is going nor how far the wind is blowing it. Doesn't help that the house is only 10 feet from the field boundary.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

does this mean that you get off dog poop scooping duty on the grounds that there would be no point?
Lucky he isn't near a water course or else he would be in trouble with the environment agency....
Yeah to nearly being at 15k. Something to share with OH perhaps?

and so I'm playing sodding bingo again. Its the dullest game imaginable since I am the only person on the entire bingo site and some very strange rules mean that I'm only allowed to win ficticiuos wonga using my ficticious wonga until ten other people join in. Theres no chance of that. So my aim is to play through my fictional fiver as fast as possible in order to obtain 300 piggy point (about 12p) in order to get a whole lot closer to finally reaching payout and walking away from Pigsback forever. Its sooo dull though!
Pottered around doing itty bitty things yesterday. Spent two hours washing and scraping labels off jam jars, now have to figure out where to put them all.... which meant partaking in a spot of cupboard clearing.
Have decided to part with the incubator which whilst being a whole lot of fun is not overly useful now we're over run with chooks most of whom seem to be broody. May well just allow the hens to raise their own young as mother nature intended which means also parting with the brooder and the heat lamps and freeing up a fair amount of space as well as generating a fair wodge of cash once I eventually get round to bunging them on e-bay.... although I'm not sure OH will be at all amused if the chicken population expands any further especially the way feed is rocketing up in price.
Managed to find almost enough space in the freezer for the porker. Must remeber to liberate a transport crate from school for the day so I can get it home without blood leaking over the carboot. Took me ages to shift the smell after the last one.
Rather surprisingly despite this weeks lack of housework the place is nowhere near as bad as normal. Goes to show what a difference OH changing his shoes at the door and clearing up after himself makes. DD1s room is a different story entirely.
Mr T v. generously sent me £23 of vouchers plus a whole lot of rather useless coupons including 1500 points off a mobile phone... just how many phones do they think a girl goes through in a month? Still 1500 points is £45 and it would be v. churlish to turn it down although it is a major pain in the bum!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Ahhhh the joys of bingo .... I remember it well

Maybe you could check out all their mobile phones on Tesco Direct and then compare to Mazuma etc to see how much you could make by insta-selling it?0

yes the bingo is so boring especially now with some sites you actually have to buy your free tickets every so often instead of just setting the system to auto buy LOL. Anyone would think they wanted you to interact with the site or something.:rotfl::rotfl:
Nice one about the tidier house. Long may it continue

I did consider that but am too much of a tightwad. Haven't had any trouble so far returning handsets for full refunds and have had a fair amount of practice after the last lot of mystery shopping I did.
Meanwhile I have blown £90 on a porker and a chunk of buffalo. Freezer is now jam packed and have overflowed into the fridge. More shuffling is required although I can keep enough out to feed OH and the carnivorous daughters for a few days which should alleviate the problem a little.
Rhubarb is looking rather bushy. Am most tempted to pick some in anticipation of much jam making tomorrow.
Feeling remarkably cheerful today which goes to show how miserable I've been. I haven't done anything any different to normal but I'm no longer dreading walking through the door..... although perhaps I should have done considering we were late leaving this morning (as usual) and abandoned a trail of porridge which is now impersonating concrete and is refusing to shift from the worktop and the chopping board and the cahir and the floor, there are days I'm convinced theres a toddler in the house because no other 11 year old can possibly make the amount of mess that DD1 achieves.
Off to hang out the laundry and then de-porridge the kitchen before disappearing outdoors to enjoy the sun.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Gave in and picked some rhubarb. I have no will power whatsoever.....
I will be spending tomorrow transforming the sugar coated rhubarb into some rather delicious rhubarb and vanilla jam.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
