Meh. PC has inexplicably crashed transforming my screen resolution so that Martins head fills the entire screen. Have fidled with the graphics card settings and found a useable size type but I can't read it without my glasses on which resulted in the usual early morning hunt.
Turfed another box of random carp in the direction of the school fayre. Also went therough the toiletries drawer and donated anything that will never be used, all of which was aquired from fayres in years past. Stil have enough smellies to see me through the next couple of years without the need to buy any but the pile is reducing slowly. Very very slowly.
Have decided to give in and return to FlyLadying... again... doing it my way really isn't working, its like being stuck on a hamster wheel. I do the same things ewvery day and when I open my eyes again the following morning its almost like I'd not bothered in the first place. However since we're already halfway through the week I'm only going to do half the list. Plus since reading through it I fear it may well tkae the better parto f a fortnight... cleaning the vacuum indeed... *Moo goes off muttering to herself - they really are barking*

Whooo hoooo its raining which means for the first time this week I don't need to de-ice the car. Equally it means I won't be late for work having sat in said car for ten minutes wondering why the !!!!!!!g thing isn't defrosting yet not being awake enought to realise that without actually turning the fan on all other instrutions to car are totally irrelevant.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Buy an ice-scraper thingy and manually de-ice the car while the fans are working inside. Waaaay quicker and saves a little bit of fuel.:)0 -

In theory thats a great idea but the windscreen in question makes Alaska look small. Its humungous and high up and I can't reach enough of it to defrost it... whinge whinge moan moan.... besides its diesel so the engine is happier if it runs a wee bit longer otherwise on the rare occassion when it eventually gets up to temperature thick black clouds exit the rear. Apparently this is perfectly normal but the first time it happened I did leap out thinking it'd caught fire.
Got sidetracked plucking and gutting three cockerels which are in marinade ready for tomorrows dinner. Have an hour to do all the things I'd planned to do and remove the blood splatter from the kitchen.
Must also confess to ordering Wii Fit Plus... I gave in. I blame it all on the spendy elves. Unfortunately I did this before my four figure credit card bill arrived. Eeek. Now kicking myself.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

Well, you could always go back and cancel the order, they probably haven't despatched it yet. But they're good fun, those wii fits - must confess haven't used mine for ages.0 -

The popular thing to do with windscreens in winter around these parts, is to cover them with a blanket overnight ... works a treat0
