Meh. Why does everything happen at once? Having given up on the chiansaw spares and purchased a new one I then get an e-mail to say the spares have arrived. Out the window are OHs plans to bung the old ones on E-bay for spares. Instead hes going to downsize the blade which means spending yet more money. At least we'll get the use out of them.

OH and the DDs amanged to convince the vet that the cat was only 6 weeks old despite it being 5 weeks old when it arrived in the middle of October. Now have to wait until the middle of December before they'll vaccinate which means January before it can go outside. Thats two whole months of indoor poop-a-scooping to look forward to.

Can't see a thing outside for mist so am hoping the DDs riding lesson will be cancelled, also hoping OH changes his mind about going to the beach enabing us to visit a church fete and the villages Victorian Christmas festival = any excuse to eat roast chestnuts.

Got as far as washing the floors downstairs, not that you'd know it to look at them, they're covered in muddy paw prints. he DDs blitzed their rooms yesterday, now have concerns that DD2 has OCD. What normal child asks for assistance in shelving its library in size order? DD1 washed down her walls and wardrobe with handsoap so the whole room smells rather nicely of lemons. Now wondering how to persuade them to do the rest of the house.

Wii Fit Plus arrived yesterday so hoping I can manage an hours play on that before anyone else wakes up. Hoping it will kick start my day as I'm in full blown slug mode.

Have been up since the crack of sparrows fart thanks to a v. over excited DD1 who is taking part in her first ever national shooting competition today. The fact that its at her usual shooting ground is totaly and utterly irrelevant. Suspect shes in for a bit of a shock though as they're expecting at least 150 competitors which is five times as many as normal and will make it a very very long day with an awful lot of waiting around.

Whilst she and OH are out of the way DD2 and I have been uber productive and photograhed a humungous pile of stuff to flea bay. I'm taking the now or never approach and listing absolutely everything. If it sells I'm better off no matter what it goes for. Hoping I've time it right for the christmas market.

Spent most of yesterday doing an impossible 500 piece circular jigsaw puzzle of Raymond Briggs Snowman. Took an eternity, mostly thanks to DD2s insistance that pieces really did fit if you pushed hard enough on them.

Had a duh moment when I bunged Wii Fit Plus in the Wii. Why oh why didn't I realise that it was simply Wii Fit with a few more games thrown in and the ability to select a routine rather than stopping and starting. More scarily I didn't realise it involved maths. Its a sodding keep fit game for crivens sake. The original Wii Fit game is in the pile of stuff destined for flea bay in order to recoup some of the cash I've wasted. Sometimes I'm so thick I surprise myself.

Fog lifted briefly in the morning so took the DDs riding but got absolutely soaked. Came home and lit the fires early then veeged out doing as little as possible which was about £20 cheaper than visiting the various local fundraisers would have been especially after the DDs spotted the fairground rides in the village.

Hoping to list tat in rapid time and then venture out to the park with DD2 and the hairballs assuming its vaguely sunny out. I hate getting my bum wet on the slide.

13 lots totalling about 40 items listed on fleabay so far. I'd like to say I was nearing the bottom of the pile but I'd be lying. I'm sooooooo bored!

Discovered ASOS have a £10 off a £11 spend with free delivery offer and came v. close to ordering these however as a new customer I'm not allowed the promotion which is probably just as well as I fear I'd look like an extra from the Wizard of Oz and worse still I'd have to wear them with a skirt. Must engage brain prior to engaging clicky finger, equally must not peruse on-line shopping sites whilst bored. Tis a truly lethal combination.

Noooo it makes no sense at all..... removing my wallet from the vicintity of the PC makes far more sense as does not memorising the numbers on the card so I can type it in without looking.

E-baying tat is on hold. DD2 is dragging me kicking and screaming to play on the Wii. Just hoping she doesn't insist I do a 15 minute jog around the park like yesterday. Its like having my own personal boot camp instructor.
