Honestly ws, I think its too much (what do I know). But I do rather like this one by Vivienne Westwood for about a grand less:

That's nice but TBH I would just buy it and never think to ask an opinion.

I know the Chloe skirt is too much but Viva I want it and I have the exact shoe boots to go with it.

I am going to try Sss link and ask about getting it copied.

If you can get a good tailoring company to work for you the world's your oyster. You'll be able to get all those lovely things you see, not just the Chloe skirt. My former boss had a guy he'd meet at a Heathrow hotel once a month (he'd fly in from HK), tell him what he wanted then next month go back and pick up. Because they were in different fabrics etc, they weren't such obvious copies. He always looked immaculate and the clothes were gorgeous. Don't know what fc's view will be on this though.

Bloody hell, I could buy a Stihl combi brushcutter, hedge trimmer and pruning saw with a telescopic head, a power washer and a chain saw for the price of that skirt!

And you have no idea how much I want it

Calculate a cost per wear and see if that's acceptable. :D

Nice skirt, not my style but nice.

It is a silly amount for a skirt no matter how gorgeous.

Who in their right mind would spend 1200 quid on a skirt? But Oh Viva I want it. My finger itches to buy.

I can remember when I was scrabbling for a fiver to put in the leccy and TBH it wasn't that long ago.

I was out at my brothers today and he was showing my a bit of furniture he spent over a grand on and asking me if I liked it.

If you can afford something, is buying it wrong?

But would you look as good wearing them as wageslave would her skirt?

Would I spend a grand on a skirt? No. But that doesn't make buying it wrong. There are other things I would easily consider spending that much on that could equally be considered a waste of money by others. I've been to Australia to go to a pop concert so I'm probably the wrong person to ask :o.

But I don't want a Stihl whatever it is, I want that skirt.

I remember FC patiently explaining to me who Hobbs were. I went straight from New Look to Stella McCartney (fantastic biker jeans BTW but Topshops are just as nice) without passing go or collecting 200 quid.

It is really not about labels with me, I just like clothes.

I need a new kitchen but I want a shearling coat and that skirt and oodles of stuff.

Everything in life is a trade off and I have no bloke to rein me in.

If you can afford something is it a waste of money?

I would consider that a h u g e waste of money but then I am tone deaf.

I did go see Leonard Cohen twice and thought it was cheap at twice the price
