I went to the pop pixie princess's post-breast cancer comeback gig in Sydney. It was very poignant, but would still be considered by many a waste of money, as well as leading to questions about my dubious tastes. But what do I know? I'm the one that likes cream soda, after all. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Fortunatly, money's purpose is to be wasted, so it doesn't really matter, as long as you can afford it.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Actually I like cream soda too I just couldnt bring myself to waste the calories.
I have just realised I am at one of those crossroad moments in my life. I can go on buying more and more expensive clothes (and I have gotten to the stage where I regard a pair of Jimmy Choo boots at £500 as cheap) or I can stop.
It is a bit like leaving my husband or buying a house or paying of my mortgage.
I will buy the skirt and then stop;)Retail is the only therapy that works0 -
Out of interest, what are everyone else's music tastes? I like soul, jazz, latin and dance music. Like some pop if its good, rock if its not too heavy. Don't like: most country, most reggae, inane pop, Madonna (just because she's Madonna and charges too much for concerts). Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Diet cream soda only has one calorie. But I should stop talking about cream soda or some will think its addiction.
Good luck with the skirt! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I think if you can afford something and it will bring you the right amount of pleasure owning it, there's no harm in buying.
Again, I am not the one to advise because I rarely buy new if there's a realistic secondhand alternative. I get no pleasure at all from paying for new things.
I know it's stupid, when I've sat at the end of a phone, coolly taking £20k off the price of my property, just as if I was amending a free ad. However, I'm sure if I won the lottery I'd still go into the car shop and say, 'OK, what have you got here that's done a few thousand?'0 -

I love Leonard Cohen songs but I'm not keen on Leonard Cohen the singer. I do like Jennifer Warne's 'Famous Blue Raincoat' album though. I've had it over 20 years and still listen to it all the time. I love Famous Blue Raincoat (the track), it has such pathos.
