I'm constantly staggered at how women can stay living with someone who disrespects them and undermines them constantly. If your relationship was basically happy and your old man was selling a bit of viagra on the side, I'd just think 'so what'. But really the viagra is the least of your problems - his behaviour in other things is what really counts.

I'd be off in a shot. (but then, I didn't hang around in my own unsatisfactory marriage, so I would say that, wouldn't I).

I know it's scary, facing the thought of life on your own, but believe me, it's better being on your own than feeling alone when you're living with someone.

Nope

You need to decide what YOU want, and it needs to be what is best for you and your sons.

Whatever you don't just stay with him because it's what HE chooses, make sure you are 100% happy with any outcome.

I can't see that this relationship is at all satisfactory, it sounds like there is no trust and little genuine affection - this, on top of a history of domestic violence makes me think you should not give him too much leeway now - if I were you I would start thinking about exit plans - in the long term it would be better and healthier for you and your boys. Best of luck whatever you decide to do, but from what you have told us, I can see lots of good reasons to get out of this relationship, and none to stay in it, to be honest.

and if they want to go to a party they can as long as he's not cheating

If my DH was adding young (unrelated to him) girls on facebook I would have a lot to say about it.
