Relationship advice

Hi all
My son has been recently told that his dad is selling viagra. I am mortified. I have not asked him out right yet as to be honest i am scared of what his reaction is going to be. My poor son is so embarrassed.
On Monday i noticed that DH had added young girls on his facebook. 1 he did not know at all, he just confirmed the friend request. Others he knows through family/friends. He invited them to a party, i said i did not think it was right, afterall what 17/18 yr old wants to go out with a 50yr old. His response you silly cow and not spoken since!
Any advice would be great.

How old is your son? If he's old enough to understand what Viagra is and be embarrassed about it, I'm not sure I see the harm.

Is your OH having erectile problems? That is something he should seek medical advice regarding.

Your approach that no young girl would look at him is probably wrong and I'm not sure that putting him down in this way is very consructive. Do you love him, enjoy his company, feel attracted to him?

I rather get the impression that OP may not be in a relationship with her son's father...

The op says "dh" and that he's "selling" viagra..............

Puts a different slant on it!

How much does he sell viagra for out of interest?
Has any female here used it?
And where would you buy it to sell it on from? And is it illegal to sell?

All interesting stuff I'm sure you will agree. No help to the OP though

Anyway, you don't live with him presumably and if he's not doing anything to hurt your son, let him get on with it.

You're living with this guy aren't you?

Why are you scared of asking him? Is he that frightening?

I'm female and tried it. I went to sleep, so I didn't try it again.

Hi sorry i was not clear
I live with and am married to my sons father. Have been together for 20 yrs and married for 12yrs.
    My son is 14
Selling viagra is illegal as it is a prescription only drug. I assume he is getting it of the net. Buying it of the net could have anything in it. It may also not be the real deal! Prescription only as there is side effects and can be harmful to anyone with underlying health problems.
With the young girls i am only his wife!!!
In the past he has hit me. Not for a couple of years.

oh dear... how has your son found out?

It does not sound like you feel that he respects you wobbly, and with the past history of domestic violence I am not surprised - also, you do not deserve to be called a silly cow for asking a perfectly reasonable and sensible question - and yes, I understand that selling prescription drugs is illegal and could also be dangerous.

Have you thought of shopping him to the police? He is hardly setting a good example to your son by drug dealing.

So getting the new info you posted, let me condense.

You are scared of your OH, a couple of years ago he hit you and now you daren't confront him over illegal and stupid behaviour.
He called you a silly cow for asking him why he was talking online to 17 and 18 year old girls.........

So, do you really need someone to tell you this relationship may not be all it should be?
