Good afternoon everyone,
Another crisp, sunny day here. Went to Mr M's this morning - slightly over budget, but I'll skim it off next week's. Got a good deal on Muller Amore yoghurts - buy 2 get 3 free. Also got a free Neal's Yard Remedies moisturiser with Marie Claire, worth £10.50.
OH working later tonight, so will work until he comes in. Tea will be tuna steaks, new pots and salad - and a bottle of wine. Might do some crocheting later on tonight.
Lame Wolf - sorry to hear about your furry friend. Hugs.
Butterfly Brain - good news about baby.
Csarina - hope you get the phone situation sorted.
Donny - don't stop posting. I like reading about what you've been up to.
Candygirl - yikes to the nudie!
Hugs to all

Haven't read the whole thread yet but I just wanted to say "hugs" LW.
I totally understand where you are coming from with regards to your wolf. It doesn't matter whether she lived with you or not, to you she was still your animal - if you see what I mean. I have been upset when my furbabies have passed on, and funnily enough so has Dh which has totally surprised me. They are all in my garden in respective places to them. I know when I go out gardening or just filling up the bird feed my babies are out there watching over me.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Hi all,
butterfly- Such good news about the little one :j
becky- Oww! Nice to know they give you a dressing to draw out the glass. That doesn't really work on . . . glass.
LW- From my own experience furry four legged 'friends' can be as much family as any two legged types. Many times more so, and makes no difference where family lives. So sorry for your loss.
JackieO- Glad the arm is on the mend!
Sunnyday- That's what we found too when looking into going 'freeview' . . . that the different services carry a few different channels. Spent ages one night comparing to see which 'free' service had the most channels that we would watch, all to have BH chicken out and stick with Sky for the sports. Still working on him tho
Just dropped in to update sig for the GC and thought I'd have a peek in . . . The Asda order was delivered today and once again I've done well on the price match front which more than paid for the deliveryNothing earth shattering this afternoon, gave the kitchen and bathroom quick clean, hoovered (which can take ages when you have to keep dancing 'round "The Beast"), a bit of a tidy in the garden but I got too cold (wimp), have the breadmaker thumping away and am seriously considering running a nice warm lavendery bath;)
Enjoy your evening(s)!0 -
Sistercas That's really great news about DH what a relief :jBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Evening everyone
Another late one from me. A lovely sunny day here too but very cold, only pity was I spent most of it at work. DS2 has been good today so far after his outburst last night. I am using the supernanny approach on him and hope to see an improvement.
Only done a bit of os today, wm on this morning which has now been hung up indoors as didnt get time to peg today. Tea was salmon, new potatoes and sweetcorn. 1 piece over as DS1 wasnt in for tea so that will be lunch for me tomorrow. Need to pack for weekend as going to see OH in London, as we are house hunting tomorrow in South Essex, then we are out in the evening for a meal(his treat).
MSD - I will be moving from Lancashire about 230 miles.
Lamewolf - Sending ((hugs)), sorry to hear your sad news.
Butterfly - Good news about your neice's baby.
Sistercas - Good news on the results for your DH.
Becky - Hope your foot is soon better.
Bargainbird - Well done to your DD.
JackieO - Hope your arm is soon better.
Enjoy the rest of your evening. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.

Butterfly :T Brilliant news re the baby!
Becky Hope the foot gets better soon. Don't think I have heard anything so ridiculous as the stuff to draw it out doesn't work on glass  Hopefully it'll wiggle its way out for you xx
Donny Gal DO keep posting. I love reading everything and never for a moment feel that you shouldn't post IYSWIM? You inspire me to continue with everything and to look forward to the benefits to come
Absolutely shattered now as I did 10 cv's on the course today as a lot of the ladies can't type very well. I have since spent 3 hours on mine when I got home :T I enjoyed being able to help out and give the ladies that needed it some confidence in their own abilities. We also had a giggle while we were at it :rotfl:
Going for a quick gander round at the threads now then a bath. I didn't get the ironing done so it'll have to do tomorrow nowKadeeae I'd happily swap mopping for ironing :j
