I'm with you kezlou.................but I've beaten you to it. I had the outdoors washing line full of towels on Monday and got them all dry.:D

It's lovely to have some sunshine, the crocus and daffodils emerging and birds singing.:j

Lamewolf - I understand how you feel - I lost my little dog about 3 weeks ago and TBA I really really miss her. Furry friends can be very important and you should allow yourself to grieve if you need to ((((Hugs))))

Butterfly - that is fantastic news.

Sunnyday - you have had a productive morning - baking sounds lovely. My gammon in sc is smelling lovely too, think I will finish in the oven with honey, so might just join you in lemon drizzle cake whilst the oven is on !

I have just came back from the garden centre and have got myself another blueberry bush so they can cross pollinate! Also picked up a kiwi fruit bush/tree! It is self fertilising so going to give this a try this year and see what happens. Gosh my garden is going to be so crowded, I must start to plan things out properly! I was like a kid in a sweet shop looking at all the bulbs and seeds. Think will have a trip back there at weekend with OH and get him motivated.

Right off to get some lunch - yes more off Diva's quiche with salad and balsamic vinegar with orange (yum), then want to do some knitting.

Broke off then as just had a call from the Wool Shop. I had knitting lessons there in January as I could not knit before (I have now made a chunky cardigan and 2 baby cardigans!!!). They are starting crochet lessons next week so I have put my name down. I do know basic stitches in crochet but want to be able to follow patterns etc. Oooh excited now:j:j:j

Good afternoon chums ,a bit slow typing today as although my'leaky' arm has stopped leaking, and the cut has dried up, the muscles in my shoulders and arms are giving my a bit of gyp.I suppose because my weight landed on them when I stuck them out to save myself.Still one out of two isn't too bad and it will get better eventually.Only thing is as I can't lift them up or over my head my hair looks like a birds nesting in it:)

Then to really cheer me up the Catch-up t.v. keeps going on the blink.I had a man from Virgin here last week and he said he would fit an 'adapter on it and that should fix the problem but it hasn't by last night the only way I can watch anything is to unplug it and reboot it everytime I want to watch something The fault is that the sound sloooooows right down and the picture as well.Bit of a nuisance really as I usually save some programmes to watch on a Saturday night as Mondays I am out at college and all this week I ahev been busy reading up my history notes in the evening .I spent two hours last night trying to get through to them and gave up in fury:mad::mad:.I hate those blasted answer mmachines they just leave you on hold listening to rubbish musak:mad:.I have just sent them a scathing letter telling them if they don't digitam extratum then I shall defect to Sky
I had been first with Telewest, then Blueyonder then Virgin since 1999 so I think my loyalty and patience is being tried to the limit:mad::mad::mad:
God I sound like a really grumpy old woman don't I and I'm not usually I am normally quite a sunny old dear:) but non-answering machines drive me loopy.O.K. rant over,I hope everyone is having a good day and enjoying some early sunshine although the wind is a bit chilly today.Hope it warms up soon I am off on my holidays to the Cotswolds in six weeks time so I hope its a bit more springlike by then.
well I'm now off to have some lunch I have a nice tuna and sweetcorn salad today with soem yogurt to follow .Sausage and mash for dinner tonight
<<hugs>> to those feeling down or poorly
    Take care all

Thank you all for being so understanding.

I don't have my own animals, because if I were to go into hospital, Mr LW would not be able to look after them properly, as he works long and sometimes unpredictable hours; he's not totally keen on having a pet in any case - not because he dislikes animals, but he's just not used to them having lived alone for so many years (with similar long/unpredictable hours), and would worry about looking after a furbaby without my help.

He does now approach dogs we know if we see them in the pub (after I've spoken to them first:o) so he's getting more used to animals, so maybe one day he'll feel confident enough to have our own, even with the risk of me getting carted off to the hossy at some point.

I do my dogsitting, and that's a good compromise - my next definite "booking" is Molly-Dog, Mr LW's friend's Labrador coming on 23rd July for 16 days; hoping for a booking from the dogsitting service before that.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Good for you LW. I can understand where Mr LW is coming from not being an "animal person" myself, but I think you may be right as the more I'm around a particular animal, the more I am comfortable and confident with them. DH was nearly left in Lanzarote so I could bring home a couple of the cats who would come and join me on my sunbed over there :D
