    Morning!

hart44- Your fault . . . dreamt about Chatsworth last night, lol. Was going about the place dusting . . . hmmmm

SunnyGirl- Awww…..bring your ironing here as Iong as I'm doing mine . . . might as well, but then you've got to do my mopping. Yes? LOL :D

JackieO- How's the arm doing today? Better?? foryou.gif

    - Would love to get a Freesat box, but can't (as of yet) get BH to let go of the Sky Sports. 4 weeks with no landline phone or broadband, I would definitely be g o n e rant.gif

A pile of ironing awaits as does some baking for the weekend. It's ever so sunny here right now anyway and not too cold but the wind is up a bit, and it's not a warm one.

Have an Asda delivery due, first spend day this month, so will have that to put away and a few items need to go out into the big freezer in the workshop. I'm desperately trying to come up with some reasonably priced window coverings for the lounge. It's needs something lighter in colour, lighter in texture but still lined . . . . had an estimate for blinds a while back, was cheaper than curtains/drapes but I've always found them so hard to keep really clean . . . aaaggghhh. Am getting fed up with dealing with it/thinking it about it, six smaller windows and the French doors - fairly pricey no matter what is done.

Best be off to make a start, running late as it is and if I'm not careful could easily find myself still here on the pooter in an hour.

    Hello to everyone else.

Not feeling my best today, I have only been getting about 4 hours sleep over the last few nights and it's starting to catch up:( I put bolognaise sauce in the slow cooker this morning and tipped a tin of spaghetti in instead of tomatoes:o:rotfl: Well I was going to serve it with pasta anyway;)

    So pleased about the baby.:j

    Donnygal
    Thanks for the good wishes.
I'll share the good luck among dds as one has just done gcse maths, another a final year presentation at uni and the third is waiting to hear about the job interview in London.

Don't even think about feeling self conscious about having a pleasant stage in life. It is good to know everyone has ups and downs and to share in the up!:T

Have just had a huge bowl of porridge , washed dishes and cleaned gas hob. Still need to tidy, dust and vacuum bedrooms and get house ready for viewing tonight.

After two years is it awful to say I CBAsd? :o
For basic self respect I will do the necessary but intend to do stuff in stages and take my time.

Rebel that I am (having a cup of tea with my feet up on here) will be having leisurely shower and choosing which new top to wear later. (at £5 for six tops I don't feel too extravagant lol).

No idea what to have for tea but I'll worry about that after the viewing, maybe Spanish omelet or similar.

    Hugs to all

Sorry everyone this as just a totally pointless thread but had to show my joy.

Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunny icy morning after being up all night coughing at the crack of dawn. There in the background was sound of birds singing and swooping around (instead of the usual traffic noise) Made me feel so happy inside.

As i was putting the rubbish out, whilst scaring out of the yard with the kitties 1 and 2, it dawned on me how warm it was.
So for the frost time since November last year i actually have a line FULL of washing :j

I know seriously sad but hey ho
  • I so agree it's great to get the washing on the line !

    Morning,
well my intention last night was to go home, sort out mine and DS pack up for today, and do some baking and ironing. instead, i smashed a glass bottle, managed to stand on the only bit of glass i'd missed mehn cleaning up, and spent 3 hours trying to get it out. I didn't manage and have spent the morning at the doctors with the nurse trying, and failing. I've now got a special dressing on it to draw it out, which she says doesn't really work well with glass??? I have to go to A&E sunday if it's not out, for xrays and removal.

so I managed nothing os at all, and infact had to give my son dinner money as i didn't have time to do pack ups!!

Oh well, start again today! DS has swimming lesson and cubs tonight, so tea will be egg and beans on toast inbetween, then I will attempt baking and hoovering! Hope everyone is having a better day than me so far!!
