    Haven't seen this posted anywhere else on the forum;

    Super Off-Peak return tickets between the West Midlands and London are now HALF PRICE when you buy online using the special link below.

    Travel between Monday 13 June and Sunday 3 July 2011 and you can save 50% on Super Off-Peak Return tickets between Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International, Coventry and London Euston (in either direction). To get yourself a bargain, just follow these three simple steps
    1. use London Midland services
    2. travel at 'Super Off-Peak' times
      anytime at weekends, but on weekdays simply arrive into London after 1300 and come back the same day or within a month after 1030 (but not between 1630-1930)
    3. buy your tickets on our website only through this link
    The 50% discounted fare will automatically appear (£9 for adults, £5.95 for railcard holders and £4 for children) and can also be found in our cheapest fare finder tool (bottom left hand box), so you don't have to spend a long time searching!

    Think that's the cheapest your going to get by train, however, on Megabus you can go by coach for £3 each.

    Not sure what this has got to do with train promotion codes?!

    I suspect you started looking before fares were released. £63.50 is the price of a Super Off Peak Return, which is available for purchase on the day of travel and allows travel on any train to London that day. Return within 1 month, valid any train Sat/Sun or for departures between 1026 & 1555 (inc) and at or after 1859 on Mon-Fri. Only valid for travel via Chesterfield. (travel via Doncaster is £6 more each way).

    Once Advance fares are released, the price is highly unlikely to go down. If there are no cheap deals on direct (but slow) trains on EMT, then try specify via Doncaster to see if EC have a better price.
  • Hi, I need to get from London (Any Station) to Manchester Piccadilly on Friday 5th August and get there at the latest 15:00.

    What's the cheapest? (The cheapest I could find was around £12 single for the train and £6 by coach but not sure if anyone can find cheaper)

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Thanks :beer:

    Those are very very cheap prices for travel by train or coach on a Friday afternoon and I doubt you will find them any cheaper for that date and time, I would advise make a decision on whether train or coach and buy before those prices disappear.
