It should be ok if its well heated before serving. I did my carcass Sunday and made the soup (well stew due to overload of lentils :rotfl:) yesterday and it was fine, Piping hot though
The dogs just had the small amount that was left as I didnt want to keep it any longer now though
Thanks thats exactly what we did. I made some noodles chopped up and added them so it was a chicken noodle soup and then we ate it for lunch but there was loads left so our three dogs had the rest mixed up with their food for dinner. They loved it - didn't leave a scrap in their bowls and even waited to see if they were going to get anymore. Little fatties.Trying to save money and always open to ideas and expecting our first child in March 2015.0 -
Evening everyone
A late one from me, dont know where the day has gone. OH has made 6 appts for viewing houses on Saturday starting at 9.15am. As he lives nearly 45 mins away means an eary start on sat morning and I am not a morning person:eek:. I just hope we find something.
Not much os today, apart from taking lunch into work and eating it, hanging up washing and the never ending washing up in this house.
Tea was sausage casserole from freezer with pasta.
DS2 had a major strop earlier when he was told he couldn't go out and play because tea was ready, he has shouted and screamed for over an hour lashing out at me and then the threw a small kitchen knife at the kitchen sink, fortunately no one was in the way. He is now grounded and his DS has been taken away. I am doing the tough love approach, as this has got to stop.
Snoozer - sending ((hugs))
Welcome Becky2812 & well done on the promotion:T.
Elona - good luck to your DD.
JackieO - Hope your arm is feeling better.
Enjoy the rest of your evening. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.

I find JLS depressing, I look at them and think "If I was 20 years younger" then I feel all old and a bit pervy:o:rotfl:
The people who came to view our house today have put in an offer:eek: It was £10,000 under the asking price so we turned them down but at least we know they are keen. I'm starting to panic now!Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
I moved here 4 yrs ago from Norfolk and get so homesick for the sea.
I so know the feeling, I moved to Staffordshire from the south coast nearly 7 years ago and sometimes I miss the sea so much it hurts. I do go back down to visit family down south but not many of them live on the coast its always a hectic round of visiting and don't always get to see the sea and somehow feel cheated when I get home. I last had my fix when visiting DS over xmas, we parked up at 7 o'clock at night on Eastbourne seafront and I stood leaning over the railings in silence for ages just watching the waves.
I love going for drives and walks round here over the peak district, but when I see a hill, I just expect to see the sea on the other side :rotfl:whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine
