    Afternoon all :hello:,

Been busy this morning hence the late post - went to the doctors for ANOTHER check up. Fortunately this doctor seems to understand my situation and was very sensitive.

Have had a mountain of work to get through this morning also, seeing as my bosses boss tried to "help" whilst I've been off sick and basically bu99ered up my reports! I've had to unpick most of her work and start from scratch all with a deadline of yesterday! Fun fun fun - NOT

Anyway, tea tonight is likely to be cod and chorizo in a tomato sauce with jacket potatoes and a baby spinach salad. Have a bit of a taste for it - might make me feel like I'm still in the Canaries if I shut my eyes hard enough :D Still have a wee pile of ironing to tackle when I get in, as DH's excuse yesterday for doing none of it, was that he was helping my Dad move something. All day. Not that I don't believe him or anything... ;)

Hope everyone is ok - it's very quiet on here this last week isn't it?

    Hugs to all xx

Hi everyone, I made some chicken soup on sunday evening with the carcass and stripped the meat off it. It has been covered in the fridge since then. Its wednesday today - will it still be ok to eat?

Hello, I confess to reading this thread every day, and taking a lot of useful info away with me, and have been meaning to become a regular poster. I hope no one minds if i join in?!

I managed this week to get a promotion at work, so will have a small amount of extra money each month, but want to use that, along with OS ways to clear my rather large credit card debt as quickly as possible!

I sat down last night and did a menu plan, but have already changed it today!! Hopefully i will get better at this!

My aims for next week are to use the car as little as possible, and to not buy any extra food, other than milk and fruit!

DD(24) has just had a job interview in London so fingers crossed for her.

Spent ages looking up information on EMA and it looks as if DD(16) might qualify for something in September after all.

We have a viewer tomorrow night so DDs will have to tidy their rooms and DH and I will whizz round tomorrow. Not holding my breath as getting a bit cynical now.

DH happy as I made scrambled eggs with cheese for us and tea will be bratwurst with new potatoes . Need to go and take dds books to charity shop before they close so see you later.

Hugs to all especially JackieO and jc.

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok-hugs if you aren't.
Not posted much as I'm having a boring week, groundhog day re cleaning, tidying etc.Continuing to cook from scratch,bm,usual things etc.
I have been doing a lot of chucking out, been in the loft, made space for stuff of DS1 that he brought from his old house, and decluttered a kitchen drawer. Also he brought a desk unit back,so I've got mine back,so doing the swop involved clearing more yet more clutter.Nearly done now though.

My bid won some wool on Ebay, and I ordered a bit more from another place,as I'm running out of certain colours for my crocheted blanket, its looking good.

Elona- I know exactly what you mean,I feel like this too.I'm sure we've had hardly any serious viewers, just people out for a nosey

Will carry on with my declutter anyway, have a good day.x

    Hi everyone,

Jackie, I hope your arm heals quickly.

Celyn, I'm glad your tribulations with the divorce have come to an end - I wish I had half your energy.

Well i went for a pre-op ultrasound yesterday to see if they could find the titanium clip they put in me. I was a bit concerned as the first question the Dr asked was which breast is it? Surely he could have looked in the notes. Then the nurse said I was down to have the skin marked (which was on my appointment letter) and he said "No, that's not right at all". I feel like going in with a big arrow and this one pointing at my right breast.

I just want it to be over now. Unfortunately mum is likely to be coming out of hospital in the next few days and I had intended to go up to look after her and dad, but now I can't.

DD is about to move from the north Island to South Island of NZ. We received a DVD she's sent us of her dive trip to the Barrier Reef - it was good but very difficult to identify her amongst other dark haired mask wearing girls!

Does re-writing my job description to regain some of the salary I've just lost in our pay review count as fun? :rotfl:

Ask her to wear a vivid swimming cozzie next time ;)

I keep dipping in while at work...well, they have had my wages worth already today so it's my time now!! :D:p :rotfl:

You mean you don't have a special set of OS cymbals for this sort of emergency LW?!?!?! I'm shocked and appalled  :rotfl::rotfl:

Yes come on OSer's - pop your head round the door we miss you :( xx
