Beenie, hmmm. He had his jabbies at 3:30pm and wouldn't go to sleep at his usual bedtime of 7:30, but I reckon we really noticed him being really feverish & clammy around about 9-10pm. Gave him some Calpol around about 10pm and I think the fever finally broke around about 3am, though I was not totally coherent do timings are less than accurate :D.

    oo-er, my baby's heavier than yours (14lbs 1)! LOL, but he's a boy :D

kindof - I really think it doesn't matter! DH plays his video games with Finn there and we watch whatever we want on TV. We also still swear but that's going to stop soon :o
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

    The talking reminded me.
Apart from Mumma, Dadda and DoDo (Jojo), she said this morning 'DET DOW' whilst wagging her finger at the dog. I obviously spend too much time telling the dog to get down. We'll have to work on a name for Liv now before she starts to feel left out - but I think L is quite a hard sound for little ones. :( She'll probably end up being Wiv.

I thought that the J sound would be a problem but clever V clearly got around that one - hoping Benjamin can do the same for DSS (although I have primed him that he may not get a proper name for a while).

Situation clarified - primed my assistant with some choice questions and she went into her interview and said 'look, I am blonde - you will have to spell out exactly what I am getting' :rotfl: We get a weeks full-salary notice for every full year we have worked and then a week statutory redundancy for every full year we have worked - which is much more appealing.

Still doesn't change the fact that I may or may not have a job in 4 weeks time but it will tide me over for a while if I do end up unemployed.

Kindof - I would say once he is noticing the TV then I would restrict to more child-friendly viewing. But then again it is only Buffy - they probably see worse stuff on Jeremy Kyle!!

I feel the same as you, from what you described you had it way worse than me lol but if you've read my birth story you'll know I had a crappy labour too, so right now IF and its a big IF I have more kids (cos its honestly terrified me now) I think I want a c section, I think I will be too scared to have another baby naturally

    Thank you MFD :)

Well I have nothing planned for today, I might pick up my cross stitch again

I have a question I love Buffy the Vampire slayer and have all the episodes on DVD and I can stick them on and watch them all day, now obv it deosnt matter if Elliot sees them cos he doesnt know whats going on, but when should I stop watching them when he is around? or would you not stop watching them? cos you know some episodes are scary lol
I'd say you've got about 9mth of buffy watching left, then you'll be watching cbeebies like it or not :p scary stuff is banned here and has been since Chris showed an interest in what was on tv.

Just remember peeps that c/s are definitely not without risks, do use your hosps after thoughts service to discuss your birth and find out why things happened and how likely they are to happen again :)

Indeed - there were some right scarey looking mingers on JK this morning! :rotfl:

Rmac I'm loving being at home - not so much this week with the bigguns off school ;).
V's also got a thing for elderley people in Asda. She does her daft smile at them, cheesey gummy grin and scrunched up nose & eyes - so they all think she's so cute, so she does it more. :o

ETA: OH & Me are going out on Friday for grown up time. We've got my sister to come and do a sleepover babysit so we don't need to be in before midnight. We're going to Liverpool and we're going to drink lots and dance silly

I'm on page 20 of 23 of the third and final section of J's DLA form and i'm totally depressed! I think there should be a fourth section where you can write all the positives. :D

Aless :p My arm aches so i don't want her to get any heavier :D

Hoping Amber will be ok, she won't swallow the medicine, she's sooo stubbon (not sure where she gets that from??:A ).

The friend i was successfully avoiding is coming tonight, i really can't abide visitors on school nights. Well i can't stand them at anytime to be fair. I'm just really unsociable. My house is my bubble, i don't like people coming :(

Oh - yay for going out!! We might try and nab MIL for a night this weekend (she gets back from Goa tomorrow!) either that or a night at BILs with the travel cot in tow ;)

I have never actually watched JK :o and I didn't even manage an episode of This Morning whilst I was on Mat Leave. I never put the TV on if there is only me in the house. It was about 9.30pm before it got switched on yesterday.

Why don't you write the good section anyway - even just a few bullets - we would love to read them!
