Perosnally I've just never watched anything I consider unsuitable with Alice around but I do remember on Child of Our Time, they showed an Eastenders clip to some three (I thinnk) year olds who usually watched it and then they talked about it to them afterwards. The clip included Barry being pushed off a cliff but they weren't troubled by it in the slightest presumably because they didn't really understand what had happened.kindofagilr wrote: »I have a question I love Buffy the Vampire slayer and have all the episodes on DVD and I can stick them on and watch them all day, now obv it deosnt matter if Elliot sees them cos he doesnt know whats going on, but when should I stop watching them when he is around? or would you not stop watching them? cos you know some episodes are scary lolAny question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

They are okay. I kept having to point to OH that they wouldn't be showing it if the baby died. (I had to do that in some of the previous episodes too.)
Two old friends of mine were in a documentary about multiple premmies after they had quins and all five babies died
I hadn't seen the parents for about 4 years when I saw the documentary and I was in complete shock for days afterwards. please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

 Presumably though there was some warning about the outcome as opposed to watching tiny babies hanging on to their life by a thread with no idea which way it would go?My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Two old friends of mine were in a documentary about multiple premmies after they had quins and all five babies died

I have seen docu's as well when ill babies died. I'm pretty sure that if any deaths occured while filming OBEM the only thing that would stop C4 airing it would be the lack of parental consent to the footage0 -

Not that I remember - I don't suppose they have to in a 'real-life' programme?
I haven't watched any of OBEM but I guess if they lost a baby they would show it with parental consent?please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

I was getting annoyed with the other one because it looked too dark - I kept wanting to take his hat off so I could see his face!!
This one was dark too so I tried to adjust it and it went a bit orange!! Might be changing the tango baby again in a minute!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Not to be insensitive... but I don't think it's a good thing for them to only show the good outcomes. Too many babies die and not a lot of people have any idea just how many pregnancies and births don't go well.
I still wouldn't watch it though.0 -
Oh MFD, sorry I kept meaning to reply about your job situation. Do you have any idea what you will do afterwards?0
