We don't dunk (because I am not sure what the point of it is unless you are progressing to free-swimming
) but I do always make sure he gets water splashed on his face and over his head so he is not afraid of it.
Our lessons are very structured. They are only council run too so not too dear.

IIRC I think it was about 4/5 weeks before we were dunking babies, the instructor did it the first couple of weeks then the parents were let loose.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Csh, yes that makes sense. Basically get the baby into a routine whereby they expect something on the third beat of whatever count you use. I may start using that for head wetting when bathing him, and then when carrying him into the shower.

Glam it's on Supersize vs Superskinny on 4, i didn't see it cos my Tesco order came and i had to re-arrange the freezer to make it all fit
