No wonder Michael Jackson veiled his children in public - I feel so sorry for any child who has to live their life constantly in the public eye like that.

I don't know what the limit is but in the small print, they do say there is an annual limit on how many you can send in so could be worth checking?

    Evening all..

Sorry I disappeared straight after asking the highchair question earlier - friends came round :)

The highchair is for taking on holiday (we already have a fullsize highchair at mum's). We're going to Shropshire this weekend, staying in a B&B and eating evening meals at a small village pub :)This one a goer then? :)

Also for holidays, this has arrived this afternoon. Am just about to work out how to put it together :o We seem to have a thing about Chicco products - two highchairs, a pushchair, walker and now baby carrier!

In other news, Rhys finally ate bread today :D Every other time he's just screwed up his face as soon as his tongue touched bread, but he was reaching out for my sandwich earlier so I gave him a bit of his own and he happily chomped it all down! It was a really fresh soft bun, don't know if that made any difference. After that he was still reaching out so I let him bite it and he tore out some ham (with english mustard!) and that was gone in a flash too! :D

Our poor dogs only gets half the walks he used too. He pulls so much, I couldn't do it when pregnant, and its a nightmare with the pram. So he only gets one walk a day now when OH gets home from work, one of us will take him around the block.

Ours just get one long walk and they seem happy with that. Out the back of our street is a huge grassy area and woods. I take Charlotte and the dogs out after lunch every day and they all run around like idiots for up to an hour. She finds sticks and throws them for the dogs. It's safe as there are no roads or other hazards, and things like rabbits and foxes live there, so the dogs like following smells and sticking their heads down rabbit holes and stuff too.

I don't really find it a chore and enjoy it. Even today with it was pouring with rain, I still enjoyed it and we bumped into two ladies and a man who were all daft enough to be out in it with their dogs too :D

Mines is a border collie and can run 6 miles and not tire! He doesn't roll in poo but the wee toad will lie down in every manky puddle he can find!
I let him in the front door and he jumps straight in the bath

Mine are both border collies. They do the poo rolling and lay in puddles. I fill an old washing up bowl with clean water before we go and they get sloshed down with that on the drive when we come back.

Bummer!!!! I've just had the brakes put on my online shopping habit!!!! The HSBC fraud team just blocked my payment to Tesco and phoned me and told me my card number had been flagged up as getting used for fraudulent transations and cancelled my card!!!!!!!!
Ah!!!!!!! No bank card for 5-7 days

Tesco credit card phoned me yesterday and asked why I was trying to buy things on my old card. It was still registered to James xbox account, so I explained he'd tried to renew through the xbox (with my permission!) but it didn't work and I realised he had the expired card number in there, so I changed it and it worked. The man said it wasn't the xbox but someone was trying to spend over £1500 at Very on my old card! I said that wasn't me, so he said he would speak to Very about it. Card expired just under a year ago, so no idea where they got the number from.
Please all rush in and tell me I'm not a bad mom, that I'm doing things right for a change :o:D

I feel awful, as if I'm "putting him away out of sight and out of mind" for these times, when I'm used to cuddling him or holding his hand while he dozes. And yet I've got no headache, I've eaten sensibly, done the washing up, and even have time to be online. When he's been awake, he's been happy, smiley and quiet.

So I'm guessing I've done the right thing? :rotfl:

It's better for you if you can make the baby live round your life, rather than live yours round the baby ;)
Here I go again on my own....

I'd just like to state that is NOT my sofa, but that IS a stolen NHS blanket from the hospital. They almost killed me, so it's only fair I nicked a blanket (or 3....)
