  • Hello all,
My next door neighbour I barely see just popped round with two massive bags of baby stuff from her little girl. She said she'd been stalking me for weeks waiting for me to pop so she could offer it lol. Nice people do still exsist lol. No many but a few. I'll have to get her a card and something to say thank you.

Fishcake it's a real help when people give you stuff their little ones have grown out of! And they're always in lovely condition because they're not in them for two minutes!

Please all rush in and tell me I'm not a bad mom, that I'm doing things right for a change :o:D

Fed up of days of Andrew starting out like an angel and ending (4pm ish) like a squawking harridan, today I decided not to let him dictate his own catnaps in his bouncer chair, but instead started putting him upstairs in his cot for set naps (after each feed). He's up there now for his third nap of the day, and has got the !!!!!! crying down to 5 minutes before falling asleep.

I feel awful, as if I'm "putting him away out of sight and out of mind" for these times, when I'm used to cuddling him or holding his hand while he dozes. And yet I've got no headache, I've eaten sensibly, done the washing up, and even have time to be online. When he's been awake, he's been happy, smiley and quiet.

So I'm guessing I've done the right thing? :rotfl:

  • Yay for Caitlyn!

    Hugs for Jenny :(

Tigs - for me putting Benjamin to sleep in his own room both at night (12 weeks) and during the day (about 26 weeks) was heaven!! He began to sleep better, which made him happier when he was awake, and I stopped having to tiptoe around my own house and cringe every time I coughed etc.

It's tough, but it is a good practice to get into. xx

But how can we talk about her if she joins? ;)

She should join and call herself 'tara's mate' so we know who she is!!!
