My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »But how can we talk about her if she joins?
She should join and call herself 'tara's mate' so we know who she is!!!
But we never talk about people on here! :cool:Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

Fed up of days of Andrew starting out like an angel and ending (4pm ish) like a squawking harridan, today I decided not to let him dictate his own catnaps in his bouncer chair, but instead started putting him upstairs in his cot for set naps (after each feed). He's up there now for his third nap of the day, and has got the !!!!!! crying down to 5 minutes before falling asleep.
I feel awful, as if I'm "putting him away out of sight and out of mind" for these times, when I'm used to cuddling him or holding his hand while he dozes. And yet I've got no headache, I've eaten sensibly, done the washing up, and even have time to be online. When he's been awake, he's been happy, smiley and quiet.
So I'm guessing I've done the right thing? :rotfl:
You are and always have been a good mum! You will both be happier with upstairs naps, you need peace from each other.Caitlyn can crawl!!

SM - I love Glee its cheesey, but good clean easy watching and your so right the songs are fab
Krystal - love mr Jelly Ive always wanted rats and cant wait till we have a bigger place so we can get one, ok well maybe 2 haha.
I know several of you have been talking dogs and agree it can be hard work, we kinda treat ours like he is a toddler and have carried on that way now bubs is here. I can sympathise its hard to get out and walk them too, H is generally quite good but if he sees a rabbit or cat pulls like mad, and thats hard when your trying to manage a pushchair too. When I get around to taking him out more regularly am hoping the sling wrap will com into its ownOnce had to re home my 3 cats when my rents split and it still plays on my mind now, so heart breaking! Am really pleased H has taken to Tahlie cos after having him for the best part of 8 years I dont think I could bear to part with him, not to mention all these teary hrmones I have atm.
jenny - eek at the green icky poo and general clothes changing messiness! Oh and huggles for the lack of anyone to moan at x Tahlie loves sleeping on her change unit, but as its raised cant leave her on there. She settles pretty well thru the day in her travel cot tho.
Tempted to get my eyes checked again, they def feel dif atm, but then could be just tiredness. Tesco do free eye tests and I can always claim the glasses on the medical insurance hehe.
EA - Eww for dead pigeon! Once found a headless one in the pub I used to manage's beer garden ands non of the male staff would do it, men can be real wimps!
3onitsway - oh how cheeky is your DD lol.
Fishcake - are new neighbours across the road did the same and gave us a carrier bag of baby clothes, it is nice knowing there are people like that out there. There are quite a few tiny baby bits in there tho that Tahlie will never fit inThey only go up to 6llb so looking for someone to pass them on to as dont think we'll be doing a car boot for a good while yet.
Well never did get to read back last night as Tahlie needed feeding and it turned into a bit or a nightmare and we both ended up sobbing, tried using the nipple sheilds and she just didnt want to know, sounds odd but they looked too big for her. Also tried giving her a dummy last night and she wasn't having that eitherOn the bright side tho, she slept well last night and all our other feeds since have been ok. Oh and the gunky eye was gone yesterday so the boiled cooled water did the trick

Hmm, he's incredibly energetic! He's a 6(ish) year old Springer and I could walk him for miles and he's still pull on the way home! Plus, if you let him off in the woods for a run, he just has to find some poo to roll in.
Off to collect him now with his new comedy hair cut. :rotfl:I know, i'm having the guilts too. I have a girl Springer and she'd only be happy with about 10 walks a day, which she got when ex was here. I take her on the back field where she can go off lead and run herself silly but it's not really good enough but DS would be heartbroken if i even suggested getting rid
. He still talks about my cat that needed put down last year and the cat that recently went missing so i can't do it to him. But the garden is full of dog crap cos my poor dog isn't getting walked enough.
Just need to get my backside into gear, because she's such a lovely dog and had no walk at all for weeks - nothing, when Amber was born. I don't have anyone who could walk her either, and she's way too hyperactive to trust with the kids down the road. She pulls the lead loads and if she sees another dog when off lead she goes to play and ignores me.Buttonmoons wrote: »That's good then SMDoes it cost much?
