Is there another reason for not walking the dog? Mine didn't get walked much when I had SPD as I struggled walking full stop and just couldn't manage taking them out

Maybe you could politely mention a new dog walking service you noticed and thought they might be interested :A
Our poor dogs only gets half the walks he used too. He pulls so much, I couldn't do it when pregnant, and its a nightmare with the pram. So he only gets one walk a day now when OH gets home from work, one of us will take him around the block.
I'm torn between finding him a new home or keeping him.
I only want him to go to a home where they'll love him as much as we do, but I want to keep him because he's J's best friend.
I hate hoovering the ton of white dog hair every day, but I like that he clears up under the highchair to save me hoovering. :rotfl:
I like that one Tara. With gold/caramel bridesmaids?
Elle You should train Rhys, when he's ready, to run into the physio appointment and slap the physio about the head. :rotfl::mad:
I've got J's DLA form here to do. Does anyone want to come and do it for me? I've filled in his name and address on all three booklets and really cba doing the rest.
Tia If you don't mind me asking, how did you find a new home for your doggy?:beer:0 -
.. Can I slap your physio? The way it was explained to me was that the co-ordination and muscle development that they learn through crawling is pretty unique and valuable later on. So while a lot of children skip crawling, those with specific mobility needs are encouraged to crawl just to get the benefits from crawling. Pity you don't have stairs, getting them to crawl up stairs is the best way to teach them to crawl. Does your parents house have stairs? A few visits a week will make a difference.
Yeah, I do understand the reasonings for it, it's just her attitude that gets me
The whole "motibility needs" thing is up in the air with Rhys I guess..
M&D's does have stairs but they've not got carpet on right now - unless Mum's forgotten to tell me the carpet fitters have been  Will try it once they're done, ta

We bought one like this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3764264/Trail/searchtext%3EHIGHCHAIR.htm when we had ds1 as our dinning room is quite small so didn't have the room for a normal one. We used it every day on the dinning chair or just on the floor in the lounge when needed and it was great to take out with us to restaurants or people's houses as it folded up and has a carry handle. We had to dig it out the garage the other day as bil will be up at easter and there isn't room in his car for a highchair so they can borrow it for their stay.

*get well soon vibes for Elasti's little one*
Tara, if you were closer I would offer my floristry skills, that chocolate dress is lovely. Mine was dark red/claret and my bridesmaid wore cream/gold trousers and a black bodice top, all in satin. I did my own flowers, Scottish themed with cream/gold roses, thistles and laced with gold wire, heather and thistle button holes for the guys, heather and ribbon ones for the girls. The guys wore kilts too, DS1 was about 2 and looked so cute!
Wish I knew where my pictures were....
Elle, to me, Rhys sounds like he is doing bloody good! It's only wee dinky! Bet your physio wouldn't dress up as santa at a christmas party :cool:0 -

My dog only gets one walk a day now too as he can get aggressive with other dogs when I have K with us.
His walk is to the field or woods to have a good run and game of football so prob more exercise than some dogs who get a ten minute pavement toddle x3 a day.
He also has free run of the back garden and can play out there for hours esp when its windy as he'll pull a bit of the trees and let it go in the wind then catch it, hes a clever dog!
Theres a dog over the back that gets x3 walks a day everyday on a lead. It lives outside and howls day and night, I'm sure if Zac was offered he wouldn't swap places with it!
A well rounded happy adjusted animal doesn't have to mean the one that gets 3 walks0 -
Elle I would say probably the 2nd one, cos it looks a bit more padded and would sit him up higher with you
he needs all the help he can get, being such a littly! Mummy to

Tara did you decide on June? if so I don't think there is time for a cheap china dress

to go with brown dress I'd go for gold/ivory/bronze type colours
Ed had pooped, I pretty sure theres more to come, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be though. shall I describe it? I know you all love that kinda thing
